This captain is either very good at negotiations or very bad at negotiations. He didn't even give you immunity, just asked you to turn yourself in at the end of the shift, and you agreed.
An amazing example of how mistakes make mrp so much better. Also, that's a cool cap for sticking to his word until the end (when he was more justified to go against the paperwork, as much as it pains me to say that as a HoP player)
Pffft, that captain made me laugh so much. It was so stupid and fun. "WHAT PAPER? I SEE NO PAPER!" The magical girl transformation and clown killing chap was peak. Not sure what to think about just throwing all of med's chem's on the floor though tbh. But considering he also tried to singaloose that's even worse I guess? XD
oh my god, you hunting the clown with the captain is so fuckin great. everything about this feels like it was perfectly set up. of course the clown thought you needed the chaplain dead. of course you got a plea deal with the cap. of course you two met up in space. its just. muah. chef's kiss. THE CAPTAIN AT THE END. HOLY SHIT. perfect plot twist. it even felt foreshadowed. pure cinema.
seems like the clown was just all around using some meta strats and abusing game mechanics like the ftl spam (also the chem spills are just looked down upon). Doesn't seem like a fun guy tbh
I think specifically ftl spam so you can greentext for free is kind of a bad move indeed. However the clown did apologize for killing the chaplain and overall seems like an okay dude. Gotta remember without him killing Chaplain this whole story wouldn't have happened right?
By technicality you didn't commit a single crime and so the captain was actually NOT allowed to detain you on evac by space law. It could also be considered as metagaming to do so.
i mean, i feel like if someone confesses to being a syndicate agent, when NT is basically at war with them, you're pretty justified in detaining them? its not really metagaming if syndicate agents are all kinda enemies of Nanotrasen
That chplin death was indeed a bruh moment
“My bad I thought you said you needed the chap dead and gibbed”

15:30 The lineup with the captain and sec goes kinda hard
“I wish my shifts weren’t so boring”

Blood red magical girl, that's not something you see every day.

I would not have made that mistake the clown made. Of course, I probably would have failed the steal objective too
being meguca is suffering

LOBOTOMY CORPORATE?!
Kinda based captain there.
i remember seeing you with the chaplain that round and when i then hear they where gibbed a few minutes later i was sure you did it😅
No really, it wasn't me. The clown did it.
@@SuperDicq this is the one and only time where those two sentences aren't a lie
Not sure how "help you and chap" gets interpreted as "help you and kill chap" but okay.
Same

@@moira_meteorite Logically yes, but with a good lawyer and following by the book no.
@@moira_meteorite I want to also add that specifically only detaining on evac would be the metagamey part (preventing green text)
Murder is legal?
