I wasn't aware that there was an alternative on that Terry Riley - good to know. I wasn't completely taken by the Embryo years ago when I heard it for the first time; perhaps i wasn't ready for it because it sures sounds great in your video. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
The drum beat on that Hydroplane has total Entroducing vibes. I dig the B side on Reed Streams. I still need to pick up all of those Numero Group reissues. I think they did all four of the Burchette’s.
efficient space is an interesting label over all. distributed via the vinyl distributor i do work at as well. and with that sound clip it is clear why this might connect to entroducing fans. sounds like a beat that could've - or even has? - ended up being sampled on that album.
Liked everything I heard and saw. I'm going to look for Joe Kaptein (sp?) and Hydroplane.. I have an original of the first Master Wilburn and would like to get more. Nice to hear Galaxie 500. Always a favorite.

Don't know if you looked into him at all but was quite successful selling his records direct to consumers and to the new age market throughout the 70s. Then he reportedly burned all his records, instruments and everything at the start of the 80s. Sort of went into a political spin I think. Definitely cult music. I dug that Hyrdoplane! and loved seeing the intro with whats been happening in your life. Cheers james!
