The live was cool but I prefer the one on one. For me it felt like Angie was trying to entertain because it was live. The intimate conversation allows for a safer space and there’s focus you can’t get with that many people around.

Same. I agree. The one on one definitely leads the guests to soften, be less on guard and open more deeper and vulnerably. ❤
Though what do you think was the difference with someone like Oprah's setup...because she had live shows infront of an audience and yet the conversations still seemed intimate with guests crying and sharing deep soul thoughts/secrets etc...

The gift that your dad gave you in the packaging “your mom is sick” - full tears. The gratitude in you sharing this, compassion, unconditional love, and no shame.

6:15 “What has complaining ever solved” I felt that but I’m still going to complain 😂

Congratulations on the new season of #IRL @AngieMartinez. I loved the conversation with your guest, #RichPaul. He is inspiring. I enjoyed the live, studio space, and interactive live audience with Q&A. In the spirit of constructive criticism, the lighting was off and not flattering throughout the conversation. There were regular flashes across the scene when you switched to a new question. There was lots of audience bumps and background noise in the room, and with the audience. I love your podcast and look forward to every episode. I love this for YOU!

Love Angie and Rich. But the flashing during the editing just made it feel inorganic and weird I wasn’t able to sink into the convo cause then there’s be a flash. Anyways, love you Ang

The full phrase goes like this: "Jack of all trades master of none, though often times better than master of one." And I enjoy being multi-passionate. Discipline as Rich Paul speaks of allows us to be multifaceted and not settling from a mediocre standpoint of just having to focus and Master on one thing

I don’t know much about him at all. I’ve actually never even heard him speak. Interested to listen.

Good interview but I’m not buying the narrative of no childhood trauma that needed reconciliation given his background

Great interview! The resolution was blury, I wish the picture was more focused.
Congratulations on your return. I was so excited to see you back, and this interview...was amazing and inspiring.
He's such an example of great energy.🫶🏽
