The predator 2 preds are all roughly 7.8-8ft tall Edit: for accuracy, the shaw and mask are completely made up by neca, in the film we see him without a mask, holding the staff, so that's where the accuracy ends, the shawl is just a great bonus As for how deep I go (thats what she said) it depends, for example with predator 2 I am rounding up all the lost tribe because I love that movie, but for The Predator I only picked up the fugitive cause I like the design. Shaman here might be my favorite neca predator to date
That detail is crazy good. Neca puts a lot of love in their toys. Darwin with Predator's head shot actually put fear in my eyes lol he's never looked so menacing lol
Cool figure for sure. That cloak thing together with the mask makes it a real standout in my collection. I love that skulled axe to go with it. The creepy eyes inside the mask are amazingly well done.
Neca's Predator line was pretty much what got me into action figure collecting about a decade and a half ago, Marvel Legends and all those other Hasbro lines I've only been collecting less than a decade, but Neca is where my heart is at when it comes to collecting. Over time as they've improved on the articulation and started doing more and more varied Predator designs for the ultimate releases I've slowed down drastically, over the last five years or so I've probably picked up less than ten, and I mainly just went with the updated versions of older ones I had. With the Predator 2 figures I had the main City Hunter Predator but only three of four of the ones from the end of the film, and I was happy with all of their updated versions and for a good while planned to stop there. The rest were just too plain looking to me with their initial releases, even this one's initial release didn't interest me given how bare his design was. That said I loved the updated mask and cloak design enough to get this updated version, now it's maybe my favorite figure in the line. I liked it enough to where I decided to just get all of the Lost Tribe figures that I didn't have, right now I'm just waiting on the Elder to release later this month.
Looks great as usual, but this is at least the TENTH repaint (with minor part swaps) of the basic jungle hunter sculpt and there's no interesting gimmick like the light up feature on the Borg (Armored Lost) predator. I get it, a few repaints helps pay for new molds, but at this point NECA is just being lazy and cash grabbing those who want to collect them all. I wouldn't be surprised if they start making up new predator 2 preds just to sell more. Meanwhile, Gargoyles gets half a dozen brand new sculpts... Hey NECA, you still got those AVP molds laying around right? How about re-releasing those? Maybe some more Kenner inspired preds? Predalien when? Maybe go talk to Hiya Toys as they seem to have this figured out?
Question of the day: currently only have the Jungle Hunter, City Hunter, and the rest of the Lost Tribe from Predator 2 and that’s all I’ll be collecting for Neca Preds at the moment.
I collect them mainly because they looks cool so I just pick and choose whatever I like. However I wish they could do some Ultimatre AVP predators, Scar, Lonewolf and Serpent Hunter are my all time favorite.
By judging the actors who have played Predator you are looking at anywhere from 6'10" to 7'2” Kevin Peter Hall was 7’ 2” so with the mask and dreads I agree with @mitrooper that he probably clocked in at 7 and 1/2 feet tall. With the notable exception of the Super Predator from that dumb as hell The Predator movie whose CGI a#$ is 8 feet tall...I agree with you about the cloak which my biggest issue is how unnecessary it actually is. No where in the lore did the Preds need a Pancho and unless they killed Harry Potter for his invisibility cloak this seems counter intuitive to Preddy's stealth. This is a beautiful piece and will make a good addition to my small but mighty pack of Preds.
This figure was the one when it was revealed I went back and rewatched Predator 2 and made me decide to get the Lost Tribe in its entirety. I'm not getting the game ones, and if they finally release the new updated Wolf from AVP 2 that would be it for me.
If I had the money, I would buy all the Neca Predator figures. Many of them look awesome and the price is not that bad, but there are so many of them. I plan to buy at least 3 of them. I just have to pick my favorites.
What a beef of a figure! I wish neca had better articulation, when they are killing it with the sculpt and paint. On the topic of articulation, what do you think about the line "Animal warriors of the kingdom" from Spero Toys? They seem really cool and appear to have close to Gi joe classified articulation.
I was talking about scaling, when you mentioned it. And, I agree... it fits in ML scale (1/12 kinda) really well. He may be a TINY bit big, but way close enough. ...and I'm going off of the size difference between the OG predator and Arnie. Sik
I find that I generally like stuff that has the boring white/grey/black color schemes...this is no different. My predator collection is, "it looks cool". I don't care where it comes from, if I think it looks cool, I pick it up.
Anthony, I have some. I got in right as the DC vs alien and predator 2-pack figures came out. Since then I have a handful more. This one is top notch for all reasons you listed. Worth it. 7-8 ft typically. Great review.
I get all the Predators I like most between all the movies, comics, games, NECA's originals and Kenner tributes. I had no interest in the lost tribe whatsoever when they released them originally, but these Ultimate versions with all the new accessories NECA created changed everything. I picked up Shaman because of the mask and shawl. I got Warrior because of the axe and flail. And I even picked up the Ultimate Elder with the light-up mask despite already having the Golden Angel version from Predator 1718. It's enough to make me wish we had better sequels with these guys and not that trash Predator movie from 2018.
I only have a couple Predator figures and they’re both Dutch, and he’s hunting Pokémon’s. The actual Predators in this line are phenomenal though, I just don’t feel the need to own any.
I had never bought a neca predator (except the one that came with green lantern) but for some reason this one called to me so I picked it up. He is awesome
I think the Predators are supposed to be about 8ft tall. I’ve already finished collecting the entire ultimates Lost Tribe and they all sit nicely together on my shelf.
This looks amazing! I need neca to get more licenses I like because their figures are so good but I don't care for most of the properties they make. Darwin looks so threatening in that last pic. I feel like im gonna be his next victim...
What we get from neca and their sculpts and paints work, diamond marvel select with their size and sculpt and better paint then marvel legends, McFarlane figures and their size, sculpt and little paint cheaper then marvel legends or action force valaverse for few dollars more u get better figures with more paint and tons of accessories. Then let’s look at marvel legends and Star Wars black and vintage series. They keep raising prices more and more and seems most their stuff nowadays is reused parts with only paint on the face for the hair, eyes and lips pretty much. Plus no accessories barely at all. Yeah it def does seem like hasbro has gotten really greedy and is putting it to the collector. It’s a shame. Cause of their practices lately I haven’t gotten near as much hasbro stuff as used to just few years ago.. year or 2 ago my collection has def slowed. But I’m def getting more of the other brands now, just shame hasbro goes more up on price, gives us less and think they are afraid to use paint now. Just all colored plastic

Darwin surpassed his predecessor. Much respect 🫡
Cool figure for sure.
That cloak thing together with the mask makes it a real standout in my collection.
I love that skulled axe to go with it.
The creepy eyes inside the mask are amazingly well done.
For me the cloak is the best part! Makes him stand out, without it looks like Black and white city hunter with some little details...
I like the concept.

New avp releases would be great
He's around 7 and a half feet (235 cm) tall in Predator 2. 1:18
Question of the day: currently only have the Jungle Hunter, City Hunter, and the rest of the Lost Tribe from Predator 2 and that’s all I’ll be collecting for Neca Preds at the moment.
Right arm you can still do 90° just takes a few times and it'll go
I'm going to go as deep as neca takes the ultimate predator line. Doesn't need to be from just the movies.
I collect them mainly because they looks cool so I just pick and choose whatever I like. However I wish they could do some Ultimatre AVP predators, Scar, Lonewolf and Serpent Hunter are my all time favorite.

mines toe wasn't glued in right lol had a detachable raptor toe
This figure was the one when it was revealed I went back and rewatched Predator 2 and made me decide to get the Lost Tribe in its entirety. I'm not getting the game ones, and if they finally release the new updated Wolf from AVP 2 that would be it for me.
I mainly go for the main predators from movies but just like Xenomorphs if I see one that looks cool I still get it. I would buy this.
This figure is spectacular! Thanks for the excellent review Anthony 👏💯❤️😘❤️❤️
If I had the money, I would buy all the Neca Predator figures. Many of them look awesome and the price is not that bad, but there are so many of them. I plan to buy at least 3 of them. I just have to pick my favorites.
There were tooo many back in the day. I still have the main collection of the movie lines. It went downhill once they got int the crazy comic versions
Purchased! Thank you.

lmao I lost it at hasbro catching strays at the end
Elder is not available another possible figure review
I find that I generally like stuff that has the boring white/grey/black color schemes...this is no different.
My predator collection is, "it looks cool". I don't care where it comes from, if I think it looks cool, I pick it up.
Neca definetly has been stepping up their game, on the netting alone its noticeable 😆
Toybiz did it back in the day, NECA is the closest to that now a days. seem like NECA actually cares
Anthony, I have some. I got in right as the DC vs alien and predator 2-pack figures came out. Since then I have a handful more. This one is top notch for all reasons you listed. Worth it. 7-8 ft typically. Great review.
I've got *nearly* all of the Lost Tribe now, and I think this guy's probably my favorite so far 👍 They're all pretty great, though, to be honest.
Depends on the source material, but as far as I can remember an adult can be as short as five feet and as tall as about ten feet.
I get all the Predators I like most between all the movies, comics, games, NECA's originals and Kenner tributes. I had no interest in the lost tribe whatsoever when they released them originally, but these Ultimate versions with all the new accessories NECA created changed everything. Anthony any thoughts about the Goku effects sold separately?
They look pretty good
I only have a couple Predator figures and they’re both Dutch, and he’s hunting Pokémon’s.
The actual Predators in this line are phenomenal though, I just don’t feel the need to own any.
I had never bought a neca predator (except the one that came with green lantern) but for some reason this one called to me so I picked it up. He is awesome
I have one predator figure. I got the Ultimate Scout. It looks like the original predator, but has better articulation in the hips.
i just got it today i love the cloak and it’s just a wonderful action figure
To answer the question of the day, I'm honestly good with my Jungle Encounter Dutch and Ultimate Jungle Hunter with an additional roaring head.
Hey hi there Anthony..do you know anything about a Neca double dragon action figures?? Yes the two brothers with a dragon tattooed on the chest
No. I didn't know they showed double dragon figures. When were they announced?
@@AnthonysCustoms thought I saw them on a San Diego comic con 2021 ..but maybe it was other company making those video games figures
I outta get into collecting some predator movie stuff… annunaki
Darwin, tearing off the head of another figure iconic🗿👑 😅Great review as always❤️🔥💯😁
Will you review the Neca Ultimate Elder Predator from Predator 2? Love the vids btw.
Maybe
I think the Predators are supposed to be about 8ft tall. I’ve already finished collecting the entire ultimates Lost Tribe and they all sit nicely together on my shelf.
I thought this line was dead. I remember how popular they were 10yrs ago
They've been making them regularly the whole time
SURPRISE ending to that fight! I thought Shaman for SURE was going to win but Darwin got him in the end. Awesome review as always.
Need a movie called Darwin. It's essentially the movie Predator with the Predators in place of the humans and Darwin in place of the predator.
I wish I bought this
This looks amazing! I need neca to get more licenses I like because their figures are so good but I don't care for most of the properties they make. Darwin looks so threatening in that last pic. I feel like im gonna be his next victim...
Predators are 7 to 8 feet tall. Smallest predators are 6 feet tall but All your average predator is 7 to 8 feet tall.
Flawless Victory Fatality Darwin Wins
I'm pretty sure they're around 7'6
Considering the first predator was a guy in a suit, I'm sure they're not crazy high. Maybe like 2 meters
👍
Excellent figure but like ALL Neca Predators, his chest is far too narrow.
🔥🔥🔥
If this were a Hasbro figure, it would be $60.00.

Ayoooo second
Nice 👍
I'm only here bc I wanted to see Darwin vs the predator
#Darwinning lmao
