The structure we see today at Castell Coch may not be one of the oldest castles but it certainly makes up for it with its wonderful Victorian gothic appearance and stunning interior decor

Impressive. As you said, a classic Fairytale Castle. Especially fascinated by the inside decor. Something different. If I owned this castle I wouldn't want to leave it so would live in a wing of it. Now and again I would take time to wander around it. I don't think I could ever stop being fascinated with this castle.

This place gives you a good idea of what these castles looked like when they were new. It may be an over exaggeration, but they rebuilt it to its original form.

Wow, this castle is so striking and as you say quite fairly tale. I've not come across it before but I think I'll add this to my list of places to visit when I'm in the south of Wales next! Thank you for the informative vlog.

Just found your channel. We do love a castle, but we’re not so familiar with the South Wales castles. Thanks for the great tour and history. 🍻

You are very welcome. There are so many wonderful castles in Wales. I am just working on a video about Cardiff Castle now.

Pity you couldn't conquer the pronounciation otherwise a fab video I have longed to visit and past it often as i know I cannot get in, in a wheelchair, but great to see inside now.

Apologies for the mispronounciations, I make sure to do that extra practice on my later videos. Thanks for your kind words on the rest of the video, it's lovely to be able to share these fascinating places with everyone.

The family name of lord Bute Crichton Stuart, is not pronounced as it is written , first part sounds like Cry ton it's Scottish and that's how you say it . Good history thanks for telling it.

Thanks. As a Crichton it was bugging me more than a bit.

Pronounciation of Welsh names needs work. Just ask someone to help if you're serious about broadcasting in future.
