Took me forever to figure out which keys were up and down. I wish a video like this had been around when I was starting to learn how to use the camera. Great work with this though, very informative! Also explains why I was having so much trouble getting the dang mouse wheel to adjust the speed.
Thank you for all of these amazing tips my man! I have just started getting into making some Blade and Sorcery content and this will really up my game! Cannot thank you enough for this.
@@RustyyMann If it isnt too much, do you think you could make a more in depth tutorial on how to use Lyneca's Camera mods such as how to disable/toggle the in game camera viewer that is locked on your arm, or at least how to make it so it doesnt show up on the OBS game recording in player view while viewing it? Knowing how to switch between active cams, or lock them in place would also be super helpful. Thanks!
@@Aldicard-gz8kw I have since learnt more which I wish I had known before making this video. To disable that camera viewer on your arm, you'll want to grab the top of the window and pull it down toward your arm. I'm not sure if you can switch between active cams or lock them in place, but I can ask Lyneca!
OH MAN I wish I saw these before I made my stuff! No idea there was a handheld camera and the ability to swap between third person and first. Worth downloading the mod which allows you to spawn the book in your hand so you can do all this stuff in a dungeon or something. Thank you!
This may be a stupid question but when you were using the third person camera what do you see in the headset itself, are you still able to play normally and get a good video of the fight from a different perspective? Or does it force you to play in a really janky and restrictive way by relying on the character you see in front of you and swinging damn near blind?
I wish nomad had this so I could make cool movies I literally was to get a vr ready pc and a pcvr headset just to make good movies I already have a good idea lol
when I record blade and sorcery videos my screen shakes and it makes the recording look sloppy, is there anything I can do to stabalize it or make it better?
Hey mate, not sure. I checked your videos and didn't notice anything, so maybe on new recordings? I'm assuming the stabilisation checkbox is ticked as shown in this video?
when I try to record with the mod I notice when using two handed swords the "monitor" or whatever it's called, on my left forearm always pops up and it is so annoying. If you know how to turn it off or something, then pls tell me. thanks
There is a way you can get a free cam that you can use with the VR controllers. I can't remember the shortcut... But from there, you can't move. *Hold Y and tap B apparently... If that doesn't translate, I think it's the top button on each controller?
Oooops! Goofed up at 1:25 🤦♂! S = Backwards, not right! D = Right. How on Earth did I miss this?🤔
There’s also the “To” missing from title, bro :)

Glad you could take something from the video! Hopefully it helps a few others out, so they can make some cool content :D

@@RustyyMann srsly my friends were complaining of how low quality my clips were, this helped a lot :))

@@RustyyMann I figured it out I was on the wrong mode for recording, thankyou though.
So when you pull the camera out of the book, does it automatically adjust the view on the PC screen?
It does yeah, so long as you're in "free view" I believe :)

Yeah, just grab it from the top and pull it down. Or the top corners, I can't quite remember...
@@RustyyMann thank you so much for replying quickly.

Should I use obs studio for blade and sorcery
You certainly can! OBS is a great recording software, with plenty of options. Check out a video on how to record gameplay with it, and you're away
Is there any way to set the camera to "player" permanently? Every time I close the game, it automatically goes on "HMD".
Not that I know of mate. All the settings seem to reset
Does this work for U12?
Sure does. I think Lyneca is yet to update Camera control though...
@@RustyyMann I need to change manifest only or something else?
@@major_vr You don't need a mod for free cam. I'm unsure how the manifest functions

what can i do for nomad?
I've never played Nomad mate, but I think you can use an external camera in Nomad.
