I think that people don’t talk enough about how Ron was abused and traumatized by every one of the Tammys possibly even including his Mother. After all why would he have such poor choice in Tammys if he didn’t have a poor model. Even the toughest most self sufficient guy on the show struggled with mental health. He was traumatized by his mom, Tammy, Tammy 1 and then Tammy 2. To see him happily married again, with three children was actually great. And it was a plus that Diane could deal with his quirks and baggage.

I always imagine a scenario where someone comes forward with what she did and it results in Tammy 1 getting charged with grooming, statutory rape, abuse of authority (she used her status as an IRS agent to get information on his assets), fraud (I’m fairly sure that a fake audit qualifies as fraud), and conspiracy to commit grand larceny (stealing fools gold in an attempt to rob Ron of real gold). She also had Ron make a joint bank account with her, so it could be considered financial coercion, but since I am not a lawyer, I don’t know if it would be a crime.

I think it’s funny that they used his actual real life wife to play one of the “Tammys” on the show. You can tell they had some real life chemistry and I think it made their on scene interactions more authentic and real in the rawest form.
His lifestyle and the interactions with all of the Tammys is a classic example of what Feud calls “Oepial Complex”. From an psychological perspective, his relationship with his mother which was traumatic had made him more vulnerable to women of the same name due to their personality and their association to his mother and so all of them are fighting to keep their control over him. Very interesting perspective.
