    Got frustrated after an hour of trying to figure out how to remove this 20 yr old faucet from beneath. Found your short and to-the-point video very quickly. Really generous of you to post this solution. Saved me (and just about everyone else here, I guess) so much time and money. You rock! Thank you!

    Thanks for making this video. Spent five minutes underneath trying to unscrew the same type of faucet from underneath. Figured there was probably a TH-cam video out there showing the easy way to take it apart, and sure enough, yours was the one.

    I'd give this guy 10 stars if I could. I, like others, spent too much time trying to remove the old Grohe faucet. This short video gave me the basic layout I need to remove the faucet. Thank you!!!

    I have this exact faucet that needed to be replaced. I'm used to having to remove them from underneath. I couldn't figure out how to get this one out. Then I found your video and it saved my life. I never would have figured this out on my own. Thank you so much! Great video!

    Thank you so much for this video. I tried to remove our faucet from underneath for a while and realized the physics didn't work. Your video saved so much time and drastically reduced the cuss words echoing throughout our house.

    God damn. Thanks so much for this. My brother in law and I spent so much time trying to figure out how to get this faucet off. All other bathroom and sick faucets have a nut that you simply unscrew so we were very confused about the Grohe design since there was not nut. Thanks a lot!

  • @VooDooV6
    @VooDooV6 ปีที่แล้ว

    So I have a similar Grohe,the whole faucet is loose at the base,either something is broke or underneath, or it just came loose like your doing,just tightening from the top may work.. correct????.thanks

    • @BRADDAPLUMBER
      @BRADDAPLUMBER  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what I would try. You can probably just pull up on the spout then tighten it with a crescent wrench.

  • @kcfan1972

    thanks for the video, its coming out! paid $65010 yr ago nice faucet until the rubber trigger disintegrated, then the brush nickel finish started pealing on the spout, then the trigger completely failed, replacement cost for just the plastic plated sprayer was $219.00 now the BN finish is bubbling off the handle hub! super disipointing. i would rather replace 4 cheep faucets then get played like that again.

    • @BRADDAPLUMBER
      @BRADDAPLUMBER  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have one of these at home also. Rubber peeling off the sprayer button like you said. And it's a replacement sprayer already.
      These have been a favorite of mine, but some other brands have some pretty nice spray patterns that just might cause me to upgrade. More realistically I'll replace someone's faucet that has a good sprayer head and use it on mine.

    Our problem is getting the top part off, you so easily pull it off at the beginning, but the top of our Grohe kitchen faucet (the neck) is not just pulling off, no matter what my husband does. Yes, he already disconnected the sprayer hose. He called Grohe and they said to just pull up, but it's obviously hitting something inside, no matter how hard he pull up. He has put lubricant ...

    • @BRADDAPLUMBER
      @BRADDAPLUMBER  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe you don't have this model. If it turns easily this one should pull right up.

      I don't know if you have solved this by now, if not: We had the same issue with our faucet neck not pulling off. The solution was brute force using a mallet to pound up on the faucet (in the center of the curve) while another person was holding the base down (to avoid stressing the underneath mounting. It took a several aggressive swings but the neck eventually was driven up and removed from the base.

      Thanks, we have not figured it out. I guess we’re going to have to try this. My husband was thinking maybe saw it off.

      You disconnect the sprayer hose below then pull it out. Then the neck of the faucet just pulls off.

    Can I replace the Grohe Lady Lux Kitchen Faucet Spray Head (46173IE0) with other brand's pull out spray heads?

    • @B-RADRIDES
      @B-RADRIDES 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The grohe heads connect differently then any other I've seen. I'd say it's highly unlikely you will find anything other than grohe to replace this.
      The rubber prob wore out on the sprayer, huh.
