After the new chapter drop, Law and his crew did an amazing job. They did become strong because they actually fought Blackbeard in an almost equal footing until Bepo transformed into his sulong form and took Law to escape and trusting his crew to make it. we get to see Bepo acting like a true first mate as well by commanding his crew to do whatever it takes to protect their captain.
Was nowhere near equal. Blackbeard was playing around as he always does. Even the manga tells you straight up they got soundly defeated and suffered a humiliating loss. We've never seen Blackbeard go all out or fight seriously yet. Law started the fight with his strongest awakened attack that was strong enough to destroy Big Mom's bones and Teach was laughing in his face seconds later. Law went all out and BB was goofing around and being reckless like always. Nowhere near a close fight.

Rereading these chapters, has made me realize that Blackbeard is still ducking Shanks. Instead of going to Wano to take advantage of the situation, BB new shanks was gonna show up at Wano to stop him, so he knew and “waited” for one of them instead.

Props for Law and crew for putting up a fight againts Yonko and it's 3 commander + Stronger (a mythical zoan user) even after being ambushed, unlike his fellow that got speedblitzed by another Yonko head on.

Dunno what plot twist is coming, but I hope it's good. Oda doesn't just show off Blackbeard struggling for a moment with Law and Shanks just one shots Kids without taking a breath.
Well blackbeard is very smart even if he comes off dumb, this is shown in that he dodged shanks even though shanks was planning to catch him, he knew about skypia, he knows a lot more about devil fruits then everyone else somehow.
Blackbeard being arrogant & taking hits is his "trope". Ace, dying WB, even pre-ts gear 2nd luffy sends him flying. So pretty much anyone can make BB "struggling"/ yells in pain, its not even a feat.
On the other side however, pre-gura² no mi Blackbeard HURT Shanks & made a permanent scar. His yet to be seen true power gonna surprise us & clap law so hard, thats the only "plot twist" possible other than the usual "third party interrupt the battle"

I feel like so much has happened just since the end of wano, we have multiple huge characters that all in all if you look back actually haven’t done much throughout the story because they were off somewhere else and not heavily involved but now everyone is making a move. We have everything on egghead with the reveal of vegapunk and the seraphims with kizaru and Saturn about to engage the straw hats, we had this battle, we had kid making his move against shanks, we had garp engaging the Blackbeard pirates to save koby etc. you can tell oda is putting everyone in the places they need to be so he can start to wrap everything up. I mean look at our main characters and how much they’ve grown they still have a bit to go but can’t get that much stronger comparatively. Luffy and his crew are almost at their peak strengths that we’ll most likely ever see them
Nah, I think there is lots of story left, Luffy will have to master Gear 5, the they need to find all the Road Poneglyphs and that alone is worth years of new manga.
I mean they are at Yonko territories and one is also missing.
And then there is also a lot of backstory left unexplained and since they introduced new elements to the story, I doubt Oda will end the story soon before giving for example the Seraphims time to have an impact.
I highly doubt that Zoro has achieved his peak strength
with his farm for powerful fruits, Blackbeard is basically a tryharder in a casual lobby

I really want to see Luffy fight Burgess for the sole reason that Burgess’ strength comes from a devil fruit, so base Luffy who can throw giant boulders at mountains, would just be the most disheartening thing.

Oda is really a storytelling genius.
The Sniper guy had to save BBs life after the shock Willy😂 he was gonna land in the water.
Well Blackbeard was pretty reckless going in the offensive like that. What’s worst is all of em are devil fruit users one fuck up for them can lead them drowning . But seeing Blackbeard pull black vortex I think it’s a wrap for law.
When i first read that law used shock wille against blackbeard from the get go, it was a digimon moment for me. In digimon, whenever the main character unlocked the most powerful powerup or evolution stage, he would use it immediately against a more powerful opponent. For example, wargreymon vs metal seadramom or piedmon. This is so different from the shounen formula which likes to take fight scenes one step at a time. For example, luffy still used gear 2 or gear 3 against doffy, katakuri and cracker even though he unlocked gear 4. This made for a slower pace fight scene. If oda wanted to drag this fight out, he would have law first used the more basic variants of room like gamma knife before resorting to his awakened techniques.
BB is not someone you can hold back against. It would be suicidal.
I find it so unfair that these emperors are just rolling in and trying to take the ponyglyphs right at the end. Shanks and blackbeard are doing it. Luffy should have kept those 2 away from kid and law they just ended up transferring them to the other emperors

@@austin7118 I dont think it matters, after all, they will fight Luffy eventually. If they won that fight, they would go from 0 to 3(probably 4 by that time that happens) anyways. So everything will boild down to who win the final shoutdown.
I guess it's important that Trafalgar & Kidd lose - it simplifies the story if Oda wants to focus more on Luffy and the others - but at the same time they can both come back much stronger and replace Shanks + Blackbeard - which I hope not since Shanks & Blackbeard have been around since more or less the beginning.
Oda is a genius.

A fight start with a laugh and a quake punch from Teach, after that many attack from the BB crew to take advantage... force law to land on the winner island, and Law strike backk with his gamma knife, then both start the battle, the winner take all... This is a greate opening for a fight like a pirates dudeeee... there is no intro, he make an intro with a punch and the attack feel like a real ambush..

Offscreen no mi model haki : Allows a mangaka to avoid drawing actual choregraphed fights because he wants to prioritize the plot yet the plot has not progressed in 10 years.
Another way to avoid drawing fights is to one shot every enemy and say it was the haki that did it.

@@gh0st-gameeh No, Pier had the regular Horse Horse Fruit. Since Pier was already a Bird he kept his wings when he transformed into a horse and became a Pseudo Pegasus.
As for the Bellamy incident that could be the case but I doubt Bellamy could bear Wiper who was comparable to Luffy and Zoro at the time in strength when Luffy oneshotted Bellamy plus Wiper having Seastone Skates can nullify his Spring Spring Fruit.

Most likely Shanks crew ran afoul of the Whitebeard Pirates when they were still relatively "new" as a crew. That's just my take, could be wrong. Either way I doubt its a great reference to use for BB's current strength, or Shanks' for that matter.

They already explained it, Zeus is fused with Nami's weapon so even if big mom is dead...Zeus won't disappear (imo honestly doesn't make much sense but somehow even Nami needed a power up 😂)

Para poder ganarle a law barba negra fue con 3 comandantes de el y law pudo escapar de milagro porque se entiende que barba negra es mas fuerte entonces si doflamingo es superior a law entonces no estuviera encerrado ni derrotado y con una recompensa mas elevada que law.
