Been listening since day one and this was a lovely highlight. Much appreciated the dedication to go more and more indepth. Personally i have been very interested in diy hardware. Maybe in your circles you can get a guest on to go indepth on how to build an eq or compressor etc?
@@ProductionAdvice Gotcha about fixed point files. Sorry about that. About SRC, I know that if the float file being imported to logic is of a different sample rate than the project, it will convert the file’s sample rate, but keep it a float file. And exporting I believe you can export a float file in whatever sample rate you want.

Interesting idea, I'll give it some thought...
Logic no longer converts 32 bit-float files to 24 bit fixed point.
Excellent, do you know when they changed it ?
Although to be clear I was talking about importing a fixed-point file, will it save those as floating-point after SRC as well ?
@@ProductionAdvice very excellent, I have noticed some issues with 32 Bit Float in logic though. I believe they made this change in Logic 10.7.8.
