I think the creator of popgoes is a genius, Especially about the idea of Simon, Like what Steve Hawking (R.I.P) Said, Making an AI Way too intelligent may cause an abnormal problem, They'll think that their creators are treating them like slaves, They'll think that they're not free, So they kill their own creator, And then seek for their answers that are yet to be unanswered, And That's exactly what Deadline (Simon) Is about to experience, A void filled with nothingness, The AIs (If too intelligent) Will ask about the reason of their existence, Which nobody can answer Because they have no soul. Deadline's design is pretty dope though
By the looks of it, Popgoes 2 was going to be an extremely enormous game, maybe bigger than Security Breach. Hopefully we could be able to see Popgoes again in the remake. This video will forever be one of my favorite videos ever.

Kane said that he was planning to make a new project with Emil after they finished Evergreen and Candy's 4 respectively, but also said if the game sold well, he'd consider making a second Popgoes game afterwards called Popgoes: Ultraviolet and it would be inspired by Prey (Don't know how shape shifting aliens can inspire a fnaf spin-off but I have faith in Kane and his team).
The whole Popgoes story can be explained with a few sentences: A guy created a robotic skeleton and the skeleton killed the guy. The skeleton now desires freedom.
The more i look at those guy the more i see potential! And the more i see potential the saltier i get for Popgoes 2 Cancellation!! (Also where is Morse the Mole?)
Wow, They seemed to have some pretty big plans for Popgoes 2, the animatronics from Popgoes 1 hollowed out and those same parts that were taken by Simon turned into borderline monsters, the hollow shells of all 5 Weaselware animatronics retaining what little life they had, even trying to put themselves back together in a way, and Simon going on a rampage trying to learn every last bit of information possible, also after being damaged by one of his feral creations, decides to try to upgrade himself, and also the fact that it says that in almost every "memory" about Strings, it say's that in both games the player was and would have been Strings, And that's just what Popgoes 2 Would have been, The various animatronics that the Popgoes team designed and modeled For Popgoes 2 honestly just look both cool and creepy to me. And all that's just the tip of the iceberg with this event, a whole lot of lore about the Popgoes universe, and the backstories of the Popgoes 1 crew, Popgoes 2 seems like it would have been a pretty unique, an overall amazing Fnaf fan game, too bad the team seemed to have fallen apart, along with Kane Carter's fear that it wouldn't do well with players, I think it would have worked, but know we'll never know, and let's not forget the fact that the main Fnaf game series by Cawthon is pretty much over with Fnaf 6, (aka the pizzaria simulator), and the whole Ultimate Custom Night=William Afton suffering in hell for his sins theory, but still, the overall fnaf series has had a more than amazing run and hopefully well get more stuff, maybe not from Mr. Cawthon hinself, but from someone else who will try to keep this franchise alive.
Man...hopefully this game gets worked on again by the popgoes team...also now that i know that simon wants to be the freest thing in the universe makes me feel bad for him..poor simon..

When i first saw some of the main characters i didnt know the names of them i thought they were another one of those cheap fanmade animatronics that will scam you into plauong them but these are absolutely amazung models and lore! (Pls ignore my grammar mistakes lol)
I remember when I was learning about the lore of popgoes I saw and watched this video and I was so confused on what it was talking about but now that I understand, it makes so much sense and now I feel sad knowing that there could have been a really great FNAF fan game that maybe could have been better than the entire FNAF series as a whole.

I never, ever realized how big of an antagonist Simon truly was. Think about it. He wasn't a very big character in PG1 because of his brief appearance, and even then we aren't given any information. The fact that he's an illegal AI confined to a purple skeleton isn't very freeing, but it's already enough as is. Simon was created for one, and only one purpose: to learn. He kills the ones that don't benefit him and his goal, slowly exhausting the world's population, and the amount of information that he can actually learn. The heartless ones are shells at most, without their "heart" machinery. Just walking plastic aiding their nightmarish counterparts. Speaking of nightmarish counterparts - the epitomes. Yeah, don't really get these guys. They're just the embodiment of a wild animal fitted into a bipedal body. Doesn't make much sense on Simon's part, but alright. Even though this is very cool and all, it's way too much information to take in, and overcomplicates such a simple game. Good on the devs' sanity for cancelling this... thing.
I wish this game wasn't cancelled, honestly it could have been on the same level as dormitabis maybe even close to TNAR or equal to it. I respect the devs decision however.
