This was like the ultimate Saturday morning cartoon! I miss those childhood years. It was such an innocent and fun time. Now we got responsibilities, jobs, and bills to worry about.
I'm loving this, and, is it just me, OR, is this series somewhat reminiscent of Shaolin Showdown, with the talismen of power, and, the quest of BOTH sides, to obtain them!? That's the conclusion I came up with, anyway!
What pretty ironic that both of those shows came out on Kids WB in the 2000s. They both had the same concept of finding mystical items/artifacts. The only difference between both of these shows, is that XS has elements of water, fire, earth, and air before avatar came in the picture two years later after XS. But u see when it comes to interesting and entertaining characters(yes I’m also talking about the villains) JCA takes the cake, the same goes for action sequences too since they are well done. While xiaolin showdown has some likable characters I was getting pretty annoyed with Omi’s cockiness and ego. But I got to admit, Raimino’s character development was suprisingly good, don’t get me wrong the other three xiaolin warriors got some development but not as much as Raimuno tbh. Tho I will give the show credit for being less repetitive with plots and having some unique worldbuliding. Since overall both shows are fun in their own way, but I got admit both of them had some flaws so no show is perfect.
I always found it weird that they never brought back Shendu's demon form voice actor from Season 1. But still, that fight between him and Jackie is still cool as heck.
@@milesbradshaw6643 They never used the original voice from Season 1 when Shendu was flesh & blood. After Season 1, they only used the voice when Shendu was a statue.
I always watch his fight with Shendu with the idea in my mind that Shendu doesn't want to kill him. He wants to keep him alive & study him before sending him to his dragon's realm
This show is like marvel before become the mcu. The talismans are the infinity stones of Chinese mythology, Shandu is thanos and Jackie chan is iron man without the suit.
This is one of the shows that I'm writing about in a book called the Familia of Trust. The members are Jackie, Jade, Uncle, Tohru, Captain Black, El Toro Fuerte, Paco, Viper, and even Valmont and the Enforcers. I think the Enforcers turned good in the end. The daydream version of myself gives Valmont a chance to see the error of his ways and change them. Valmont and the Enforcers aren't evil, just greedy.
I frequently rewatch the show so I'll tell you that the enforcers don't really become good in the end. There was an episode (titled the good guys) where they tried to go good but in the end failed because of their greed (it did show that they had the potential for good tho) However after working for the dark hand, Dal long wong, Trakudo, and Drago (the son of Shindu) they agreed to NEVER work for the supernatural forces of darkness again. So they're just regular crooks now. And as for Valmont he got pushed out of the villain game by the other forces of darkness and ended up broke living in a small crappy apartment. He wanted to relaunch the dark hand and bring it back to it's former glory of the criminal underworld but never got the cash to do it. (Kind of sad actually)
I think Jackie ran into Valmont in the final episode: He was a bridge worker helping the people evacuate, implying that he gave up on crime and got a real job.
Shows you how dumb the Shadowkhan are. None of these "ninjas" thought to use sleight of hand to swipe the rooster talisman off the shield while Jackie was blocking with it. This despite taking orders from Shendu, who would've been interested in the talisman, not the shield.
This show is hella underrated
Damn straight!! They don’t make shows like this anymore.
I don’t know if it was at it’s time, but nowadays yeah. Every cartoon is so light hearted and goofy nowadays.
The show was great back then. I would always look forward to watching it.@@coldandstinky
@@nepsessu258 Lots of people enjoyed it at the time, which is why I do not think it was underrated back then.
This show's dubbed version was a massive hit in south india.
The comedic timing of this show was ON POINT!
This and TMNT 2003 were the shows for me 💯
God, it’s been so long since I watched this series. I had forgotten how epic the Season 1 finale was.
This was like the ultimate Saturday morning cartoon! I miss those childhood years. It was such an innocent and fun time. Now we got responsibilities, jobs, and bills to worry about.
This show did a great job showing the improve way of fighting Jackie Chan is famous for.
I like the fighting scenes of Jackie Chan, it's one of my favorites!
The agility and reflexes of this jackie on a whole other level bet he knock out Batman ish
Which version? If we’re talking the animated The Batman version, they might be evenly matched since one of the lead animators worked on that show too.
No way he's not even close. Batman is the GOAT.
@@benwasserman8223I say animated Jackie is in between Batman and nightwing in terms of agility and reflexes.
Jackie Chan needs his Age & Youth back

One of my favourite toon back then!

This show predated Shaolin Showdown
@@xengar That's right, which means Xiaolin Showdown is reminicent of Jackie Chan Adventures.
And both have a disembodied villain that is returned to physical form by using the power of ancient relics. Wuya was basically Shendu

@@santanajohns5816 this is why Adderall is a hell of a drug lol
I've always wondered how did the rabbit talisman get embedded in a turtle shell.
I love that Jackie is so cool and great at martial arts but then is a total goofball, softy, dork at any other given second 😂
But smarter
Hwang Sung Kyung: So my talismans lead me…to you.
Jackie Chan: These talismans are different from yours.
We need a compilation of every time Uncle says "Magic must defeat magic!"
I think I rather the one where he says "one more thing..."
@@Anonymous-ub9oi We got that in the De-ja-vu episode and Uncle remarks "Uncle is feeling very dizzy"
One of my favorite cartoons, and I was a teen when it came out.
Doreamon, pokemon, shinchan, ultimate spiderman and this master piece of a show was my childhood.

Amazing top 5 fights from jackie chan adventures
Bad day, bad day, bad day, bad day
I always found it weird that they never brought back Shendu's demon form voice actor from Season 1. But still, that fight between him and Jackie is still cool as heck.
Shendu is still voiced by the same actor(James Sie who also voiced Jackie and Chow) through out the series.

@@Asaylum117 Oh yeah, I see what you. I don't have a problem with it, but I will admit Shendu's season 1 finale voice is better.
