The largest shift in Adam's workshop storage system has been the arrival of a medical cart repurposed as paint, wire, and stock storage. Incorporating it has required that Adam tackle the tile puzzle of shop organization, which displaces some old shelves and makes room for new ones. Time to fill newly unutilized space with a custom-built small shop cabinet!

If you've seen other videos you'll know a lot of the units are on castors so they can be moved out of the way for when he needs the whiteboard (see, for example the bear costume video). But presumably because it's not something he needs to get to a lot of the time that's why it's okay to be behind stuff.

    Another great video,
I think this is the 3rd or 4th build in the last few months in which you have put lights into cabinets.
You might want to think of a power delivery system/architecture to save having a heap of wall wart power supplies around your cave.
I’d suspect if I was doing it I’d have at least 2 output terminals on the back of each cabinet so you could attach picture cabinets to.
There are some interesting Chinese copies of wago connectors that could be useful with this

These are awesome videos, and whilst it maybe more work on Adam vs having a camera person in the workshop (which could end up being annoying), they are more intimate and seem more spontaneous, especially as they are timed around Adam's energy and don't seem to need to be booked weeks in advance.
Don't get me wrong, I really like them, time in the shop with an acquaintance who's interested in enough of the same things, but also brings new ideas. Parasocial relationships not withstanding.
My concern is that they saw the channel was still doing well with these types of video (which are cheap to get out of the door), and we have lost a lot of the other content and videos from outside of the shop.
Is that a cost cutting measure, probably, is that an Adam Savages workload changing thing, possibly.
TBH I always thought Will and Norm were not good hosts, giving deference to sponsor of the week but without the ability to bring life to talking points in the same way as Adam, maybe that's just me, even though this whole Tested channel thing was Will and Norms idea!
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tested.com
Maybe they assumed that this would grow into a much bigger financial endeavour, something large enough to support like an LMG, and whilst profitable, has matured in it's own direction.

The extra shelves, slipped beside the cabinet... How about slipping them in at the bottom of the case, under the transfer punches? That way, they are less likely to be separated from the cabinet, and easy to find if you reconfigure the shelves. You could actually just double or triple up any shelf to stash the extra shelves, so long as that didn't squeeze the space too tight.
