😂 People always wanting something more. Can’t we just be happy that this has been released and looks/sounds AMAZING as is? Personally, I’m diggin’ it. A LOT!
So many people dislike this unit and the only reason i can find is the aesthetic of it?? Please just see it and play on it you will be pleasantly surprised.. this is the most pro unit on the market yes it needs some features that will come in due time ,other than that as its a standalone with a massive computer as its heart and can be fully upgraded over time... this is it .. other than looking like club gear, under the hood this is the best thing they have ever put out...
I have an opus quad and an XP2.. did some research (after trying to make it work on my own for a day or two) and learned that there is no way to connect opus quad and XP2.. XP2 ONLY works in performance mode and OQ ONLY works in export mode.. If you know different or a trick to make them work together, I’d love some guidance/pointers
Can someone point me to where in rekordbox i can add the items to the drop down menu to filter track selection? Can't find it anywhere.. The menus Matt is talking about 7 mins in, thanks
Hi, Julian! Thanks for your interest. Yes, the Opus Quad has two stereo RCA inputs to accommodate turntables or other analog audio sources, and those inputs can be assigned to the built-in mixer on the controller. Feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again! Caleb Lowrey, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1620, caleb_lowrey@sweetwater.com
I understand this is designed to look good at weddings and similar events. But why did they miss the chance to make the one part of it look good that guests actually see all night, the back? It looks very unappealing.
Hi Krisy, great question! The Opus Quad does not support Bluetooth output, only Bluetooth input. For many professional performance tools and instruments, Bluetooth simply has too much latency to be an effective protocol for output. When placing drops and syncing tracks on a DJ system like this, that latency could cause some timing issues. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out! When you play in a club with for example the opus or any device Theres always latency with the speakers in the club. So why no bluetooth output? And send to for example partyspeakers Maybe in a firmware update? Good video. Thx

Day mode so I can play outside with no glare issues
Also is there a track suggestion feature like in Djay?
Direct streaming would have made this unit over the top

Can't wait to have mine soon !!! Hopefully I'm in the next round of pre-orders. This machine is true function meets form, super excited.
Go Matt! 🙌
Always innovating!!!
Gotta innovate more in much more qualitative way.
lol always copying smaller manufacturer/brand and top it up with at least 1k dollar more😂😂😂

can you plug in two analog turntables into Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD (and use the mixer to bring in vinyl tracks)

Can you use bluetooth headphones?

Stems?
Rekordbox has stems, the Opus Quad doesn't have specific stems buttons so you have to assign the last 3 hot cue buttons to activate the stems.
Eventually they will just give us a screen. Hahahahahaha. Hmm😮
Fat. Now, just add the spinning platters, and you will have arrived at your destination.
would have been able to worth the stupid price tag with a spinning platter and performance pads but unfortunately no. They asked more but offer less.
