Cheers mate.. handy video.. Fixed mine and it worked first time. Still not worked out what the small spring and latch on the front (under the stainless steel plate) does.. I think that fails abd forces the main spring to pop out..
HI...what I understood problem is with plastic part I used to fix problem? naturally you can use metal part,it could be stronger,sure...so...I didn`t say, I had problem with Wires for opening doors, on that door lock...exactlly,pancers...it was also problem and pancers moved ,fixed with glue again and no problem...allmost two years without problems...still works...sorry for my Navaho english... ;- )
Do you know if it's possible to change the door handles from one side to another? I have a RHD C4 and I would like to change the key lock to the driver's side

Rolo A i think it is not...it is diferent
There is left and right parts of lock...I think it is possibly only plastic,outdoor part...everything else is mirrored....
