When applying a 3D eye to a bait use a straight pin to lift it off the paper. The eye will stick the point of the pin so you will not get oil from your finger on the glue. I use the flat eyes then apply a drop of UV resin, hit it with a black light, and you have a 3D eye that will not fall off. Keep a straight pin handy to pop any bubbles that may appear.
The old silver buddy always works, most of the time I’m using the Binsky from FishSenseLures, but now that I’ve made a bunch I’m set for now. The newest reel I’ve gotten from Ardent The Contender is their best one yet in my opinion.
@northeastbassfishing1501 I've got to make some of these and see how well they work for Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish off the pier here in the Gulf of Mexico. Much cheaper than most methods.
This was a fantastic vid, Mark! Haven’t had much time recently but was able to catch this one
Thank you, glad you liked it.

Cool….thanks for the tip!
I need to get more blade baits as I moved to KY. I have just a very few. The old Ardent sweatshirt. Wish they still made reels in the U.S.

In-line hooks as the eye is in line with the hook.
👍👍

I would imagine they will work well. Good luck!
Mark are those tungsten since in a lead free state ??
No….I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tungsten blade bait. But blade baits and spoons are legal in NH.

Yeah lead ones are legal to use.
@northeastbassfishing1501 small wins in the wallet
