Ranked play is extremely different from long custom room sets. Most people can't adapt to their opponents in ft2 sets. Having someone experienced like you watching over their live game is very helpful for the match, provided you tell them later why you gave them that particular instruction so that they learn too.
I feel like there should be a top 100/500 legend rank per region (i.e. NA, Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and SA). On top of the regular system now. Capcom could define what countries are counted towards what region. Japan can have 500 exclusive to themselves. The US/NA can have 300. Europe can have 200. Etc. Just to match the size of each region. But idk. I ain't even in master yet.
Online one vs one regardless of region and ranke it should be who ever is online and searching for a match that matches your skills so that you can always find a match online. But because the internet still sucks even with 5G network they cant have someone from japan playing someone in USA or in Germany in any kind of casual rank match. Yet AI is booming like a tard.
You're talking absolute rubbish. You have it easier where you are far less good players. Europe, Us and Japan have far more talented players in much more higher skill levels. You're not legend because you're not good enough. Simple as that, you wouldn't be legend in any other region
You’re clearly ignorant about this topic, there are MANY examples from our region who are my level and when they travel they reach legend from day 1. Research what you’re taking about before you criticize

The pool of players that are in your region are quite weak, so it's very difficult for you to rank up if your constantly facing players of 1400 to 1700 MR over and over, getting very little points. There's only so many games you can win and statistically you will eventually lose a game/points by those players, which will probably be more than you gained in the first place. The players from your region that visit places like Japan and get Legend "1 day" are at the top of the food chain. They probably could make Legend in any region that has a decent pool of players so it's unfair to compare them... Japans 1800 players are way beyond the same rank of players in your region and their Legend players beat some of the best daily. Not everyone can go to that country and get legend in 1 day.
