That is an interesting idea. I wouldn’t try it on a Miehle because it would probably be too thick and hit too hard, but also I couldn’t see how you would attach it securely. However I do want to try it on a Kluge letterpress since the pressure can be lowered. I think this would help with getting a deep impression while printing. I wouldn’t do it on a Miehle but it’s definitely worth a shot on the Kluge. Great suggestion!
My grandfather was the owner of 7 mihele, 4 Heidelberg Minerva, 5 Multiliths, a Polar Guillotine and many things in his printing Office in Buenos Aires Argentina. . How many memories of my chilhood. Now I'am 59 years old and a lot of nostalgia of those days in the early '70s.. Good luck and I can't belive this Mihele working 60 or 70 years later. Sorry about my English...
