Hi! Does your car have a roof rack or can you install hooks? If you don't have a roof rack and you can't open the rubber band, you'll need to go through the center of the car and secure it with a tie down strap. If you can provide a feedback video we can better help you out.😄
Just arrived today. Stress testing it in a few days with a 1200km/12hour journey across Spain. Will be using two ratchet straps additionally for extra tension. The instructions contradict the video where it says the zipper side of the of the bag should be facing the rear of the car. I assume to avoid letting air into the bag and causing extra drag or the zip to break open
Hey, please let us know a s.a.p how it went. I heard that the airflow is rubbish if there is no cm space between roof and package. Its like somebody is pushing you back when drive. I dont know .
@@shaytaanisaloser couldn't really feel it on the roof. I made sure to pack it tight so it didn't flap about and I stopped every 30 mins to tighten the straps as it found its place on the roof. After the second stop I no longer had to adjust and it stayed tight for the rest of the journey. Three wardrobes worth of clothes, 3 electric guitars, 2 acoustics and some random stuff I couldn't fit inside the car with me, my son, wife, dog and cat. We went through an hour of heavy rain and no water got inside. The only downside is I did dent the roof of my tiny kia because of the weight but I assume I went close to double the recommended weight so... my only recommendation is that you pack it tight. And if you do go overweight like I did then make sure to pack the back seat up to the roof to support the weight above. Or maybe it's just because my actual car was so full but I never felt top heavy. Just heavy in general
@@alexfields8785 Thanks very much!! Great info! I have car roof rails on my Honda so its easier to tighten it i think. So you didn't feel like the car drove backwards like someone told me would happen if you dont have space like a regular Rooftop??
