Ruan Liu Zheng returns to her hometown after seven years, and becomes a neurosurgeon at Bei Ya Hospital. However, she did not expect to meet her ex-husband, Ning Zhi Qian, who is the most experienced neurosurgeon at Bei Ya Hospital. Ning Zhi Qian volunteers to be Ruan Liu Zheng's mentor, in order to make up for the hurt he caused her. Ruan Liu Zheng is no longer the weak and timid girl, and shows resolute and determination in both her work and relationship. During work, Ruan Liu Zheng clashes with Ning Zhi Qian, but also works alongside him to save lives. When they were in Africa to execute medical relief efforts, Ning Zhi Qian was injured while saving a patient. Ruan Liu Zheng did not leave his side, and fought hard to save him from the brink of death. Over time, the two gain a new understanding of life, and begin a new relationship.

Just finished watching the series. It was different from the others. This was an adult love story for those wanting puppy love scenes you will be disappointed. I loved the the two leads and the adorable kid. The entire cast was superb and spot on. Iam amazed at the classy acting level of the C dramas. The settings are so natural and hospitals are real. Its like a big budget movie set. Not sure what to make of the ending but thoroughly enjoyed the series and superb chemistry between the leads and the funniest jealous scenes between the two rivals. 😂😂😂

First when I read the plot of the story that captured my heart easily & pushed me to watch this another great Chinese drama with amazing actresses and actors, thier acting is full of emotion from love to betrayal actings skill from adults to kids indeed so well. I laughed and cried many times and they same time I'm feel in love watching the romance chemistry between Dr. Ning & Dr. Ruan. Highly recommended this drama to everyone from music & to the casts everything is perfect, looking forward for more drama together with the male & female lead. Thank you YOUHUG channel for this wonderful drama series.

Amazing actress, with best traditional Chinese female look recent year. She was just 18 yrs old when acting in this drama. Amazing actor too, more like a man instead of a boy like other drama actors. He looks mature and natural in acting skills.

as an african i liked the way they portrayed africa. usually in kdrama's they make insensitive jokes about the place which makes me immediately drop the drama but so far so good? but also as an african i am pretty much aware of china's interest in africa and their plan of colonizing the place when africa as a whole has went through so much.
So the Africans want to colonize Guangzhou, do you think the Chinese will be happy? You can drive the Chinese out of Africa, but you have to remember that China is not the United States or France, or other European countries, and China is not a country of immigrants. China does not need so many Africans, nor does it need so many Chinese-African mixed blood ᥬ🌝᭄

Just finished this drama. This is not regular cdrama matured love story both leads are well educated heroine character was bold. Leads have amazing chemistry they look stunning together. This is my first time I love female character more than male character she is extremely beautiful. Dr.Ning he is cool he portrait his character well. Ending was bit disappointed I was expect more. Future viewers go for it. One of the best

Yes. After watching The same male lead actor Peng gunying past two drama 1.The confidence. and 2. Unexpected falling. I like peng gunying with Cai wenjing. They are best couple. They did two drama very good. The confidence and Unexpected falling is two best chines drama.

Con la actriz de "Caída inesperada" protagonizó "La confianza" excelente actuación, también lo vi en "Dos conjeturas sobre el matrimonio" con otra actriz, con ese papel lo odie, jejeje, fue capaz de transmitir microexpresiones como de hastío, aburrimiento, desinterés y despreció hacia su esposa que me hacen calificarlo de excelente actor. Aunque la historia es mas ligera que las otras, fue buena historia, con lección de vida. Está es la cuarta vez que lo consigo en un drama espero quedar satisfecha, sus dramas son para un público más maduros
