Ingredients
Minced meat - 1 kilogram / 35 oz
Eggs - 2 pcs
Breadcrumbs - 70 grams / 3 oz
Onion - 3 pcs
Peppers - 2 pcs
Tomatoes - 6 pcs
Boiled eggs - 7 pcs
Pickles
Salt - 1 tsp
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Paprika - 2 tsp
Thyme - 2 tsp
Parsley
Oregano
Method of preparation
Season the minced meat with salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin and thyme.
Add 2 eggs, 1 finely chopped onion and the breadcrumbs. Mix well and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Boil 7 eggs.
Prepare the sauce by stewing the onion and peppers for 7 minutes on a moderate heat.
Grate the tomatoes and add them to the onions and peppers. Season with black pepper, oregano and paprika. Cook for 2 minutes on a moderate heat.
Pour the sauce into a tray and arrange the meatballs on it, shaping them so that in the middle we place 1 boiled egg and 2 pickles.
After arranging all the meatballs, brush them with olive oil and sprinkle with red pepper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40 minutes.
