I really agree that he was a great man in his own way. I can relate to this by saying how I got to see my great grandfather on his last day (November 25th, 2021). He passed away just a couple hours after I had seen him, and it was very tough. But deep down, those memories really stay with you, and even though the physical body dies, the spirit lives, for sure. Such a strain to care for a dying 94 year old. Only 1of GBs kids was at his death bed. JB loved GB like a brother and a friend.
