@@nickabbott4411 I actually played GoldenEye XBLA version recently (I also 100% it on n64 a few times when it was new), and with modern controls I can for certain say GoldenEye DEFINITELY holds up, feels amazing, and still feels unlike any other fps ever. there is something super REAL and special and forgotten about its game mechanics, and I want to make a video eventually breaking down exactly why, and how we can make more games like it. the same way Doom 2016 re-validated the fast, mindless, blitzy action of the 90s doom 1 and 2, essentially creating a new sub genre of FPS, or rather, rediscovering it, a "goldeneye-like" is a real genre that could exist soon. I'm also doing this research to make my own goldeneye-like game.

The World is Not Enough didn't hold a candle to Goldeneye back in the day, but that's probably because Rare were a unique and very talented game development company. I've not played the XBLA version myself yet but it's definitely on the list! 👍 More so if it comes recommended. Good luck with your game development too.

thats because you set off the alarm. you have to clear the place out then when shes messin with the computer and the alarm goes off just run straight out the level.

I remember turning on the invisibility cheat, and shooting next to all the guards to lure them into one place, and then set a shit ton of remote mines at their feet, and eventually blow them all up. all youd see are bodies flying through the air it was funny
The best thing to do was let her stay in that cell and kill all the arctic soldiers before letting her out.Sometimes you might accidentally kill her depending on how many gaurds you take out in the middle of the shoot out.
@CF40 The N64 was clearly the best damn console on the market (graphics wise), but its only draw-backs were lack of CD-R capabilities, and in due-diligence (Beyond the RE2 port), this held the N64 back from probably crushing the PS1 (cause of storage limitations on a cart/112kps audio playback; it couldn't port other big-market games at that time like Metal Gear Solid).
I mostly just played multiplayer with this map and the archive and just played around lol. Then actually tried to play through the actual game, I think I got stuck on either "Jungle" or "Cradle"
