Online is all most people wanted. Legacy collections don’t add a lot, so this is plenty. On top of this it sounds like they’re fixing bugs and retranslating the games which is a lot of effort.
I don’t see what the big deal is about the online Every Legacy Collection had an online mode, so it should have been expected Now the bug fixes and retranslation ARE huge things This video was just about the initial TGS trailer, and I stand by what I said in this video, they really should have said that stuff in this trailer But yes, that other stuff is very nice, and made me a lot more excited about the Collection I am planning to make an update to this video whenever a new trailer comes out
I'm sure they're pacing out the announcement of various features as the months progress - there will still be a considerable wait ahead of us seeing as about a month after the initial announcement trailer we got an article saying the collection was only half-way through development, and god knows how much time it took them to reach that point beforehand (or how long that would have been even without covid's interference). Given what we've been hearing about the collection outside of the official announcment videos (chief among them that these are source ports with fresh translations), it really does sound to me like Capcom is giving this collection much more effort than any of the prior Legacy Collections, and Capcom is likely keeping some features and content close to the chest for the time being, to be revealed as progress is made in order to sustain the hype until they're ready to announce a release date.
This video was only in response to the official announcement video at TGS They should have revealed that stuff in the video, I still stand by the TGS video being extremely underwhelming But, you are correct, they have been saying in interviews and articles that they’re doing a lot of cool things I plan on doing a follow-up to this video when a new trailer comes out
MegaMan battle network never actually had any real online it was always through a link cable. the other games had a side mode boss mode or a online racing ghost mode. maybe it’s a something that you would consider better but to me this is the best thing that could happen. I assumed that there will be no online and that the multiplayer functionality would be completely gone. The fact that every game will have online play is very impressive!
That is a better way of looking at it The originals didn’t have online, so it is nice that they’re adding that Though I personally still wouldn’t call it impressive, it’s the only way they could have gotten the multiplayer to work unless they made some new mode for it
@@SuperGalaxy This is true But, this is also Capcom They have the money and resources to make that work It’s a fine collection so far, but I just want a little more than that
@@penguincjp so I’m just curious what’s considered a little more? Because for me this is the little more and I think a lot of fans would tell you the same thing.
@@SuperGalaxy I was thinking some special online mode I didn’t have any specific expectations for it, but a more fleshed out sort of thing Maybe you could choose which game style you wanted to battle with and got paired with people choosing that same style Or it gave you access to all the chips in that game so everyone could have access to any strategy And like I said in the video, they could reveal that later, we really don’t know, but from how they talked about it, it just seems like the multiplayer the games already had, but online Which is fine, but I would have liked some spectacle to it to make it feel special
Time is the main reason Making plush videos takes a lot of time, with finding the right time and place, recording multiple takes for the scenes, and editing it all together Since I have a full time job now, I have a lot less time to actually make videos, let alone plush videos And while I could still make them if I wanted to, to make ones I’d be proud of, it would take them forever to come out None of the series would get finished at that rate If I’m going to continue making plush videos, I want to make content that I can be proud of, you guys deserve that much So until I can do that, the plush videos will not be back
