- This game is over 1 and half years old! I have heatseekers on in this video and I don't use them anymore. This was the highest combined kill game for the chopper for almost the entire life span of BF4. I wanted to upload something with a gunner and I figured you guys would enjoy this video :)

@@christopherhatton4489 eh i would say it’s 50/50. gunners are manipulated by how good the pilot is. and the pilot won’t be able to make huge plays without the gunners help. pilots job is to go for vehicles and set the gunners up. the gunners job is to kill any infantry, help with vehicles, and also get the stinger spammed

honestly hate the people who only fly the chopper. The chopper is way overpowered, and a good pilot can just hog it all game, never die, get 30-1 k/d, and just kinda ruins it for the other players. Then the one time they do die, and someone takes the chopper, they bitch and complain like "Get out of my chopper" as if it they own it

They need moblie AA on this map attack chopper is way to over powered cause they get to hide behind buildings reload there flares or ECM then come back out of hiding and it shouldn't be able to self repair that's the biggest bullshit ever

Probably a bit to reply but try maneuvering around in an empty server. Practice also makes perfect even if you crash or get shot down a million times

It's difficult to aim that chop from the ground, we totally lost aim when this chop hided behind these buildings, not to mention have gunner on that chop it seems already difficult. Want to take it down we need aircraft to eliminate it.
A good player will use dumb fired rockets like the SMAW and RPG. When you become a extremely skilled attack helicopter pilot on BF3-4, you become lock on proof. You learn how to easily evade lock one and even learn where the locks are coming from.
Even in air to air combat, lock ons will put you at a massive disadvantage if you are up against a professional pilot, because they take time and by then, he's already dumped an entire rocket pod on you.
Take my advise, I'm a literal shit bucket in the Attack Helicopter.

Great team work, even without words you both guided each other. I was a really good pilot myself for both BF3 and BF4 and when I had a good gunner, we were unstoppable. Although, didn't use the attack helicopter as often I did the Little Bird with standard 7.62 minguns and IR flares.

Me and my friend once in BF3 hunted an attack heli in a jeep and managed to take it down with the gun, we'd hide under trees and behind rocks to avoid the rockets and just chase him whenever he flew away to try and repair. Second time he tried repairing we got his gunner, then about 10 minutes later we finally got him.

I try to last long in a chopper but it never works. What am i doing wrong? Can anyone help? I can operate a chopper just fine, but just have trouble surviving and always get shot down buy missiles and other enemy weaponry. Thanks in advance.
Caleb Nichols You need to learn when to attack the lock ons and decide what you are going to do when you are getting locked. If you don't go straight for cover or straight for the threat to kill it, you will die. Be aware of your surroundings look for the missile smoke tracer after it's been shot.

Caleb Nichols and that's ur main issue... Having a good gunner is like having a second hell in one. When u get locked on by ground missiles either fly extremely low to the ground cuz they won't be able to lock on then and fly to cover orrrr turn around quickly but u better be sure ur aim is perfect. If it's a heli ur being locked on from find it and go head to head... don't bother trying to hide from it, because then they're chasing u and that outs u at a HUGE disadvantage and u will most likely die. I almost never fly without a gunner, while I'm flying away from a lock on they're still able to shoot and especially if they have a TV missile... oooooooohoooo that's lime a nuke sniper

I recently went back on BF4 because I didn’t buy BFV just to see what things are like and nothing has changed. Skilled heli and tank players reign and it took me a while to adjust back from the slow pace of BF1.
Also, I noted that you were killing every enemy vehicle leaving your team to deal with infantry on each flag and your team just about won the match. Again, some things never change! I will always love this game though.
How long did it take you to become this good at flying?

love this guys flying, my fav is the little bird with the big bullets on that sucker . I might be wrong but I kinda feel they lost part of that aspect of battlefield in bf 1. the teamplay with a pilot/co-pilot or fuckers just sitting in the back repairing/waiting to get dropped off somewhere where action is.

Unfortunately people like you are the reason I completely stopped playing this game, despite enjoying it for years. There is a reason helicopter frag farmers use mostly just this map - it's not a skill, it's simply an exploit. It's just physically nearly impossible to defend against it using conventional AA weapons this game has to offer, because you can just flare off and hide behind closest building until they recharge. Back in the day, it would be at least possible to land a lucky SMAW or SRAW shot to at least throw the helicopter farmer off, but that was off course patched shortly after, so that those wouldn't result in one hit kills.
The reason this is possible is that the game is no longer being maintained, and exploit like this are no longer being fixed. That being said, the kind of people who have fun by spoiling fun of others usually end up lacking in other aspects of life, so I can understand where the need to do this is coming from.
Ludvík Koutný u are absolutely right. That's why I still will use the aa amd I do pretty good, even when they ban them. It's unfair and they whine so much about the aa's.
I have actually stopped as well. The way the helicopter is now is too overpowered and it is too easy for unskilled players to do well now. Theres nothing to it now so I just moved onto other stuff tbh. This videos was recorded back in 2014 so it took a lot more skill back then.

To attack someone's life is silly. I would own on most maps with the attack chopper. Not everyone can use them right. You sound like such a bunch of babies. In a real players match that people know what they are doing choppers are the least problem. Dont blame home for the reason you sucked. All it takes to deal with any air vehicle is a squad that knows what there doing. Get good.
What's funny is that most players who are good in vehicles are only interested in having a good game. They don't want a challenge and would rather grind the enemy team down with a 600 plus ticket win, than play solo and maybe even play on the losing team. My problem is that I don't enjoy playing against a team that's losing badly but its hard to get a balanced round if you're on voip with friends.

Moron. He's a born stick & rudder flyer employing hit & run, hiding & pouncing while always moving with aggressive & relentless attacks. He's not reckless, hugs the buildings so tight you could lick the glass and even more impressive he's not greedy in a target rich environment. If you can't see it then forget about it. However, the gunner saved their asses with his outstanding aim. The performance speaks for itself. Who's responsible for deploying the countermeasures?

I recently got into playing the attack chopper and im a decent gunner in my opinion but im terrible at flying the thing, anyone got any tips? Also im a bit confused of how to use the tow, i see 140s easily shooting me down but myself i struggke, is it just training or am i missing something?
