A few things to add, I sold the Marina last summer but i do have a replacement that i hope to film once the weathers nicer and I'm very new to making video content so please be kind! and yes, I can't say my R's either...
Dont worry about your voice, everybody hates to hear their own voice ;) You've got a lovely accent. Good to see one survive TG's marina destructions! ;) I enjoyed the vid, thank you for making!
I'm 57 and the sound of your Marina just took me back 35 years - Well done for keeping that car in super condition - the ride and comfort of these old cars around modern towns with pot holes and speed humps etc. puts brand new cars to shame?
Lovely car, shame you had to sell. Both the A and B series and good engines, and a ton of aftermarket support and modifications available for both. I agree it does get a bit tiring with people slagging the Marina off at every chance. Realistically they were no worse than any other low cost small 70s car; they were all pretty average, but we love them all the same. Looking forward to seeing more Marina content on here.
I do actually miss it as I'll never get another one as clean but I couldn't fit rear belts for the kids, it ended up with a Marina collector on the South Coast.
I think that the problem with many of BL's products of the '70s was that they really weren't that stylish. The Mk1 & 2 Escorts and Mk2 & 3 Cortinas looked far better as saloon or estates if if they weren't any better as cars.
Love your car vloggs

Very enjoyable video 👍. You did a lovely job on that Marina
I love that rear wheel axle whirrrrrr. It is music to my ears! lmao 😃
Beautiful car and nice to see one in such good condition that hasn’t been restored.
Great car, always look forward to your videos. Keep em coming.
Nice old car!
Love how original that Marina is! 👍

My bro had one the same and I still remember the way the vinyl seats got on v hot and sticky days
Although the A series is an old design, I'd still have that over the 1256cc used in the Viva/Chevette and the Ford 1300cc used at the time.
COOOL!!!
I’m genuinely gutted to hear that you’ve sold it. I would have loved to have taken it on.
