- Tiny Glade is a completely adorable and charming game about doodling castles, and yes I say doodling because it's a good word and it also accurately describes what we do!
We doodle the castles, we just potter about and make a nice castle, with no time limits or goals or resources or anything like that, it is all very relaxing indeed.
We can build various elements of a castle, such as walls, buildings and towers, and we can adjust their size, height, width, colour, style, and much more. We also get to place windows, lights, flowers and paths, plus as we doodle quite a lot of little incidental details appear like piles of firewood or birds nests up on the rooftops.
In this video we build two different styles of building; one is quite castle-like, with towers and battlements, and the other is a little more like a country house, with a nice walled garden.
Oh and there are sheep which you can pet which is just amazing.

Tiny Glade is a relaxing free-form building game. Tap into the joy of making something pretty with no management, no combat, or wrong answers - just kick back, doodle some castles, and turn forgotten meadows into lovable dioramas.
Explore gridless building chemistry, and watch the game carefully assemble every brick, pebble and plank. Draw a path through a wall? An arch pops up! Widen the arch? Pillars line up. Lower the wall? Arches turn into fences and gates.
There are no wrong answers or failure states. You can change your mind at any time, and whatever you make will look cozy out of the box.
Let yourself unwind to the chill vibes, and escape into a world that feels alive. Ivy envelops your buildings, sheep waddle through your paths, and fireflies light up the night.

These tool mechanics would be so cool to do in a tower defense game of some sort! Yes! I can picture it now.

I built a castle almost just like yours before I seen this video. Its such an easy build.
I really, really wanna make a red castle with a green roof now ... or a yellow castle with a red roof! So excited for the full game, and the demo comin' soon! 😍
The full game has so much promise and opportunity to build big castles with huge lush grounds or fancy country houses with sprawling grounds.

Lovely interactions with ivy growth too! You avoided placing two windows side by side the whole time tho! It also came with a little animation of the panes opening 😢

I knew about this game a while ago but forgot about it. I think the creator was on tictok and I thought it was a cool game ❤😊
Its a very fluid, intuitive game. Somehow, it reminds me of Manor Lords. The ease of use, maybe.
It would be cool if after you build, you place guards around and goblins attack. Guards and Goblins are AI controlled and will fight in the buildings you created. Winning or losing would come down to how well you designed your castle. Good vid.
I'd say that would make it a totally different game! This is just about pottering about and making something nice, fiddling around with the heights of roofs and whether you have a red door or a blue door.

All the lights are on, but nobody is home.
