A dedicated combine harvester is not affordable given the much smaller landholdings. This is a cost-efficient mechanized combine harvester solution in India. Regular tractors are used to power and drive the harvester. In other words, the harvester itself is like an attachment for the tractor. Once the short harvesting season is over, the tractor will be brought down the same way and resume its life as a regular tractor.
