    What was your favorite moment from General Conference?

      The temple announcements. Hamburg is where my mother was born, and just minutes before the announcement I wondered aloud if Lethbridge Alberta would ever get a temple, and then it was announced!

      Match them up side by side, and think about it.?
      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------While you at it bring out your spade and start digging Hill Cumorah in New York..
      Your religion claims in the book of Mormon that 2,23,000 people died in the battle at hill Cumorah in New York [ Mormon 6 and Ether 2 ] There is no evidence to support these phantasmagorical claims of great battles..
      The Mormon church now owns the land around the hill Cumorah in western New York. The Mormon church could easily prove its critics on the ground and produce a steel sword, a breast plate, a chariot wheel, just something..
      But they don't even try to evidence that they know nothing is there.
      =================================================================
      The Mormon Jesus Christ created being the elder brother of Lucifer..
      Common [ one of many Gods ]
      Conceived by a physical SEX act between God the father and Mary..
      Atonement happened in the garden of Gethsemane..
      Achieved full salvation through obedience to his heavenly father..#
      A married Polygamist...
      =================================================================
      The Biblical Jesus Christ he uncreated God...
      Unique [ the one and only eternal son of God ]
      Conceived by the holy spirit who supernaturally overshadowed Mary..
      Atonement was made on the cross at Calvary...
      Eternally God, never required salvation..
      Unmarried..
      =================================================================
      Why does the Mormon church teach that Jesus Christ and Lucifer are spirit brothers, when both the first chapter of John and Colossi-ans teach that,
      Jesus Christ is the creator of all things including Lucifer..
      ================================================================
      Why do Mormons say the sticks in Ezekiel 37 represent the Bible and the book of Mormon when Ezekiel 37 - 20 22 tells us that the sticks represent two nations, not two books..

      Thomas S. Monson - very first talk as apostle ? [ October 10th 1963 ]
      called by David O. McKay to be an apostle October 10 1963, at the age of 36..
      Comments..
      I have a real problem with saying will try to be what you want me to be Gods
      prophets, and apostles should not conform to what the people want..
      Gods prophets should strongly support what God revels, regardless of whether
      it is popular or not. Just like Smith did with plural marriages and Brigham did
      With Adam God doctrine..

      Hello, welcome!
      Just like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Bible - God commanded the return of plural marriage as a commandment for a very brief amount of time.
      But that practice was discontinued. Today, only one man is married to one woman.
      As stated in the Book of Mormon, by the prophet Jacob,
      “27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any aman among you have save it be bone cwife; and concubines he shall have none;
      28 For I, the Lord God, delight in the achastity of women. And bwhoredoms are an abomination before me; thus saith the Lord of Hosts.
      29 Wherefore, this people shall keep my commandments, saith the Lord of Hosts, or acursed be the land for their sakes.
      30 For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up aseed unto me, I will command my people; otherwise they shall hearken unto these things.”
      If you would like to learn more about this, I invite you to speak to your local missionaries at ComeUntoChrist.org

      @Missionary Universe Great. But why did Joseph send men on missions to marry 14 year old girls? I am confused. I thought he loved just Emma. And why is Russell Nelson a polygamist? Same with Dallin Oaks? They are sealed to multiple women in the temple.

    "This broadcast has been furnished as a public service by Bonneville Distribution. Any reproduction, recording, transcription, or other use of this program without written consent is prohibited."
    I appreciate your desire to share the gospel, but the church teaches a strong respect for copyright ©️ laws and such things.

    • @MissionaryUniverse
      @MissionaryUniverse  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you, we have been very mindful in the creation of our videos, and refer to “Fair Use” as listed below,
      Fair Use is a set of limitations to the complete and exclusive rights that a copyright owner holds for any creative work.
      Where Creative Commons licensing is selected by the creator to allow specific uses of a work, the doctrine of Fair Use apples to any copyrighted work, and does not require any permissions from the creator.
      Fair Use does not necessarily allow for remixing, reuse, and/or revision as creative commons licenses do, and Fair Use must comply with the four factors listed below.
      Section 107 (of U.S.Copyright law) contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Section 107 also sets out four factors to be considered in determining whether or not a particular use is fair.
      The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes
      The nature of the copyrighted work
      The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole
      The effect of the use upon the potential market for, or value of, the copyrighted work

    • @ArmoredLion217
      @ArmoredLion217 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MissionaryUniverse I would disagree with your claim that fair use legally applies here. What you have cited is the more vague general background for the specific listing of reasons found in Section 107. Just about any reposting of someone else’s content by those in favor, neutral, or opposed toward its message could say it’s reposting as comment, criticism, or education. That doesn’t mean the reposting truly falls under the more strict legal parameters for fair use in application. As someone who values copyright strongly, I will stress that fair use does not mean it’s okay to just copy and share other people’s content so long as you indicate you’re commenting on it as part of the reposting. That is a loose standard that was never codified and it doesn’t exist in practice. In any case, I have no animosity towards you. God bless.

    What do those church authorities mean by "the gospel"? They apparently have never read the definition of "the gospel" of Christianity, which is defined in Romans 1.16 and 1 Corinthians 15.1-4. We are to be peaceable (Romans 12.18), but the gospel of peace is NOT news of coming unity and world peace. The gospel of peace is offensive (Matt 10.34) and divisive (Luke 12.51) to the world. The gospel of peace is the good news that through Jesus alone (not through an added "do your best" covenant path of religious rituals and moral living) sinners can be reconciled to God. Ephesians 2.13-17.
    13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
    14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
    15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
    16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
    17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
    18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

      Um…did you watch the video? Every person on this thumbnail speaks in the video. This is exactly what General Conference is all about.

      @@MissionaryUniverse Yes. I watched. But comparing your chosen few faces on the click bait photo as representative of the entire conference speakers is misleading since the vast majority of general authorities conference speakers are middle aged or elderly white American males.

      @@MissionaryUniverse Thanks for the video. You did a great job. Antis always have something negative to say about something good. They make good things seem evil. They have the chose of not to watch, but they watch and just criticize because they are only about tearing down the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They are like the Pharisees in Christ days who always sought to criticize and condemn Christ as a heretic. They always spoke of Him negatively, never positively. The Antis are the Pharisees of our day.
