He was one half of the 80s most successful pop duo. But after Wham! split in 1986, Andrew Ridgeley shied away from the limelight, letting best friend George Michael take centre stage. Now, three years since George’s death, Andrew bares all in his new memoir ‘Wham! George & Me’. He’ll tell us why he wrote it, discuss the circumstances surrounding his former bandmate’s death, and reveal all about appearing in Emma Thompson’s new Christmas film.

everyone needs a friend like andrew , Im so sad that George is no longer with us but what a life he lived
What i love about Andrew is that he allowed GM to realise his full potential not letting his ego get in the way, many others might have been jealous or resentful of that situation when the band was intially a 50/50 project but Andrew always supported George no matter what, even if that meant taking a step back. He did recognize that GM was the better songwriter.
Andrew is still cute. He is right. Every time I hear a Wham song I am 19 yrs old again. Good times. Thank you😅

Your wrong Andrew 😊, because Wham will never age. Like you 😊and George😊, were absolutely fantastic' you were gorgeous and still are. I loved George Solo , but Wham songs are hard to beat, they are timeless and ageless. People would still love to see you guys on stage no matter what age, Wham and whole band were best in world, songs were absolutely super and hard to beat. Last Christmas for example, there is no other song that can beat that one, no matter who the artist is. That is a top no 1 forever song of all time. ❤ George was at his happiest in Wham. ❤❤

Loved both of them, in wham . I think if they stayed together, George might still be alive. But I understand George wanted to grow as a solo artist and a writer. Rip George 🙏 you will be missed

Its to bad he got left behind! Wham was very much his baby. Without him it wouldn't have been. Time just seems to ruin everything! You can never hold on to the moment it comes and goes and the your 50-60 .

Andrew has been riding on George's coat tales for years. George was Wham Andy wS just along for the ride.
Micheal was a solo artist when he was in Wham. He experienced astronomical fame and success at the same time as being in a band. I watched the Netflix movie. It was very entertainment. Micheal just got too big for Wham. And Andrew knows that. I’m glad Andrew has had the opportunity to come in on the back end and tell his story as well.

Actually George was a superstar and Andrew simply couldn't do much besides just helping him grown. It was actually Michael's idea to having him be the only responsible por the songs and Everything, Andrew respected cause he was a good friend and he knew that George was better than him at the job.
Andrew and George were a great team. They BOTH CREATED WHAM! Andrew has talent, too. George Michael was an amazing singer and songwriter.

wow.....just wow. If it hadn't been for Andrew Ridgeley George Michael would not have catapulted into the fame he did. Ridgeley either wrote OR co-wrote many of their songs. He also went on to write and produce for many artists out here.
