I could not agree more. On other video comments, some people are unnecessarily critical of Al Jardine because he’s comparatively low profile, but he’s got a great voice, does what he’s meant to do and Ive always liked him. Also, considering that he is the only ‘non family’ original Beach Boy, he’s still showing his loyalty by hanging in there which I’m sure that Brian Wilson is grateful for and there’s the extra bonus of having Matt ‘great falsetto’ Jardine come on board.
Saw Brian and Al in Toronto. What a night of Beach Boys hits. My lady pal was not that aware of the boys but she could feel me in the heaven zone hit after hit. Al supports the big man cleverly with his jointing in to give Brian some vocal energy. Credit to the lying in bed man. Barely gets to his chair then plays for two hours then off to another city
@@rogerauclair1670 I agree. Loyal, solid band member and probably great friend to Brian as well. I've heard Matt sing! Great voice that compliments Beach Boys songs well. Is he Al's son?
Don't Worry Baby" is a song by American rock band the Beach Boys from their March 1964 album Shut Down Volume 2. Written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian, Wilson's lead vocal on the track is considered one of his defining performances, and he later referred to "Don't Worry Baby" as perhaps the Beach Boys' finest record.🎸🎷🥁🎶❤️
@@marymagdalene3004 Matt is superb on it in concert. Even though this clip is just a sound check, I think he sounds pretty good. I wish he was on camera, though.
Been a fan about the same age. I'm pushing 61 now. Brian Wilson is a mastermind when it comes to music. Not many can touch him. Richard Carpenter come to mind as well. 🤙🏻😎🤙🏻
The beach boys with Lori Morgan was just amazing ..the look on her face was just beautiful ..she almost could not believe she was singing with such greats but she made the song even better
This is very difficult to pull off. Arena’s and concert halls are so varied. These guys will have nailed it after a couple of takes. Newbies struggle !
Looked like Dad was blocking Matt. (That doesn't even make sense, Matt is easily a head taller than Al.) Matt is not Carl, not even close. But, Matt still hits them out of the park! Carl didn't sing falsetto, he had that range naturally. steve
Son of Al Jardine who was part of the original Beach Boys from way back then! Matt kind of grew up with his dad playing for this incredibly successful group in the 60's. Al's parents are both musicians - his mother, I believe, was a concert violinist, so music is in their gene pool.
th-cam.com/video/1zSbHADm32o/w-d-xo.html Great rendition of this song by Billy Joel .... such a shame to see and hear Brian recently he really needs to stop touring.
Come on now!! What's this Brian At Bernies bullshit. He's just sitting there like a statue, in name only. Tonight Only!! Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys. Brian will be comotose. I'd be ashamed. The Wilsons are rich, they don't need this shit IMO.
Now for anyone who knows about the beach boys sound.. this is absolutely crap.... not a single note is right and people like this should know when to stop conning the public and give up. they have earnt billions and its just terrible to hear such a bad noise................go listen to original and yo uwill have to agree. this is like cats fighting..
It’s crazy after all these years Brian still sounds great. Guess you never lose a gift like he has.
Thay are still the Best group ever !! After me listening for 50 years !!
That's not Brian singing lead, it's Matt Jardine.
@@MrTony.S I thought so. You can't see him in the video so I was wondering if it was Matt.
It's great to see an artist celebrated as such while he's alive and rockin'.
Al Jardine is certainly the most loyal band member ever.

Matt Jardine!
One of the best bands ever
"EVER", the first 100 part harmonies, or at least it seemed that way, Loved um then, Live um Now & forever !!!!!! ♥️💯

The lead on Don't Worry Baby is now safely in the excellent hands of Matt Jardine.
Matt did not do a great job on this song, have to say.

That good Beach Boys Sound. Always liked that sound.
Yes he is loyal to Brian and it’s his living as well. Excellent team player.

Just a sound check, but it's great. Love it.

RIP BILLY!! WE MISS YOU!!
Hope I will be able to see it. Love to hear music!
Well done. Hats off!
And the sound check gets ah 💯♥️💯♥️💯♥️💯♥️💯♥️💯♥️
This was my favorite Beach Boys song of all time….until their next one.
......and then that one, then the next one, they just kept coming, and we loved um "ALL", still do !!!!!!!!!! ♥️

Sound check? Today's bands would be lucky to sound like this the end product.

might sound better after a couple of pints. and the band might sound better if they have a few too.

Van Dyke Parks is the Beethoven of the ages.
That may be. But just to clarify, Don't Worry Baby was written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian.

He did a great job. But listen to the original. Brian still gives me goosebumps.... 😘

Brain wrote it, but there's no Beach Boys to sing it anymore....what's the point of just standing on stage.
Who is ruining Brian's lead? It sounds like a poor imitation of Al.

Al Jardine's Son...... And actually- he's fantastic live... this is just soundcheck.

I will just keep listening to the original. Brian still gives me goosebumps.... 😘. Try & sing it...... 😭 I could....Long ago .....
