It was a nice getaway. Only wish we had time for another day. Next time we go somewhere, we might do Catalina and it will have to be for two nights I think.
I saw a documentary a few years ago about this painter who interviewed lots of the townsfolk of Solvang, and you can see that painting/portrait of the town quite predominately displayed in lots of shops and visible locations all over town. It's pretty neat.
We went into a shop that sold puzzles and the different Solvang painted puzzles were very prominent. I must not have filmed it cause I don’t remember editing it into the video. But I feel like I had filmed it. I just don’t know where that footage went. Or it was earlier on in the video (maybe) because I edited this over a period of weeks and don’t really remember what I put in it. 😂
That looks like a fun trip! I need to go visit this city. But I am a little confused: Wearing a Norwegian shirt, eating Irish/British Food in a Danish town??
Norway is a Scandinavian country and fits with the overall area as they have several landmarks for Scandinavia in general. However, the Irish Pub, yes, that was a divergence. 😂
