Dear Christine, I wish you a wonderful and healthy New Year! Keep your joy, your humor and your great attitude. And your laughter! 😄 I look forward to 2025 with you and your great works. The card turned out beautifully! And the way you always come up with great ideas is really unique! Thanks for that! ❤️
The illusion of watching through binoculars is a brilliant idea! I wouldn't have thought of that in a month of Sundays. I love it (and he will too)! 🩷👍👍👍
Oh how nice to see you today. I love that you are laughing at yourself and your ideas, which makes me smile 😊. Love this idea. Wishing you and your family a year that is filled with health, happiness and good fortune❤
Fabulous card Christine, what a wonderfully creative imagination you have and I think you placed the bird just right he looked like he was flying from the bird house.👏
Yes! I have the same pencils and I’m so happy to see them being used for card making. I can definitely use them as well. Thanks for using different techniques. Card turned out great! But I never doubted that you are amazing with coming up with beautiful ideas.Perfect card once again 😊
Good mornimg Christine and very Happy New Year to you. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you make this wonderful card. That little bird just has so much personality. Thanks so much. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
Such a clever idea with the two circles as though looking through binoculars, and the bird with the envelope in its mouth...a great card for Nick's 70th birthday Chrissie. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a very Happy New Year. x
You have such a great imagination. The binoculars was such a good idea. As was the mat. I have so many new dies to play with now and you've given me so many great ideas. See you as soon as you decide to film yourself in your craftroom again.
My husband is 70 and also a birdwatcher! Your playful spirit is such a joy to watch! I have been so inspired in my own creativity just watching you daily play with all the things! It’s made me dig out supplies I rarely touch and improve what I do well! I’m so happy to have found your channel. Many blessings for the new year!❤🥰❤
Great card again Christine Nick should be very happy with it. I agree with you on the bird house better on the tree and I like where you placed the bird 🐦🐦🐦.Have a great new year.
I think people that hank the bird box are probably thinking of a bird feeder. Every time you use the Inktense pencils I want them. That want monster will have to wait a while. Wonderful card, I am sure Nick will love it. Happy new year!!
Love this. Yes birds are very fussy about which house they will use, they are often part of mating routine. The key is never paint them in bright colours, always blend in to where they are placed, they should not be visible to predators. You need to place them well in advance, at least six months, but don't be surprised if they take a year before using them. You need to hang lots of them in various places all at least a meter away from trees (they prefer fences as trees are too easy for cats to access), but with evergreen tall shrubs/ bushes around them. Also at least a meter away fromwindows and doors and feed poles/ birdtables and baths, again due to cats and the feeders should be same distance from trees and fences too. Always leave lots of natural bedding lying on ground for them to use, and never tidy up gardens at end of summer to keep it wildlife friendly. Once a female approves a box they will return every year and we usually have bees using the ones the birds don't. Oh and always have some feeders the large birds can't access too.
When I started cardmaking everyone used 2 pence coins to round the corners of rectangle or square cards , and we always used paper inserts inside, again with rounded corners, then the punches made it easier. I think the binoculars look fine, but you could try it on scrap paper if you like. We also did something most cardmakers online seem to do the opposite of now. Like good quality shop cards we never folded exactly in half, but the front was always ever so slightly wider than the back for two reasons, so the card stayed up better and the card was easier to open. I have seen more people using corner punches recently , so guess everything comes back into fashion, as is paper patchwork cards, bargello in particular. I wonder if iris folding will return next.
Happy New Year!! Love this card and your creative use of those circle dies. The bird is focused at the right spot and he has a definite personality of his own.❤
Happy New Year . What a fabulous card. Have just seen the Easter Calendar from Gummiapan and wondered if you were going to do the same as Christmas, or will you keep it just to our special December event? Thank you
Wonderful card love the pencil effect. I notice that they come with different amounts of pencils. How many pencils would you recommended please Chris? Thanks x
I forgot to comment about this card and ask if you could telll us the names of the dies I can't find them. I do have the circle set. + I love this card it is just too adorable.

The Robin preferred to nest in our garden hose housing rather than the nesting box!🤣🤣🤣
