I don't think anybody wants a new Carlos. It'd be one thing if he'd been written out of the story at some point; it's another thing entirely that the actor died. For comparison, ask just about any Stone Temple Pilots or Soundgarden or Sublime or NWA or Alice in Chains or Linkin Park fan if they would feel comfortable with the bands going on without their classic lead singers around. The overwhelming majority of people would say no. Hell, Drowning Pool only made one studio album with their original singer Dave Williams, and were lambasted for continuing under the same name with a new singer. You just don't do it.
Batting around a theory here: What if, in the "original" timeline, Bridget reacted by ordering/performing Ulliana's execution? Only now that Red and Chloe changed things, Bridget never became a despot and Ulliana survived....maybe even went full villain, as her intro song suggests, and offed Ursula in order to usurp her kingdom. Now, instead of being raised and possibly even abandoned by her mom, Uma was ACTUALLY raised in the wickedest of arts by Uli, who she regards as her mother, and that's what the chuckle at the end of RoR is about: subtly hinting at the fact that, hiding behind "New Uma's" eyes is a darkness and a desire for her own form of revenge on Bridget/Red. Could even lead into a trilogy sequel where we find out that, ultimately, Red can't actually PREVENT Bridget becoming the Red Queen so much as delay it. D5 could end with Uma exacting her and Auntie Ulli's revenge, which ultimately pushes Bridget to her breaking point just like the original prank was supposed to at Castlecoming. Then D6 could deal with R&C going back to try to fix what they caused in the new timeline, only to make things even worse, as now in this third timeline Ulli and Bridget both survive and become psychotic tyrants at war with one another and ALL the kingdoms caught in between.
It's not necessary. They clearly don't WANT to comtinue on without their missing castmate/classmate, and any "cameo" scene they could contribute could easily just be written in a way that their physical presence isn't necessary, such as rather than filming a scene of Mal and Ben telling Uma to take over the school, they simply have a voiceover of Uma explaining that they did so and then a live scene of Fairy Godmother acknowledging Uma's royal selection as her successor.
That's what a spin-off is tho: a story that happens in the same universe as the original story, but with new and/or different characters and THEIR story.
the movie red is only good enough for people to watch is because some of the old characters are in it but I'm still not cool with nun of the other Vk's there R.I.P Carlos.

I don't think anybody wants a new Carlos. It'd be one thing if he'd been written out of the story at some point; it's another thing entirely that the actor died. For comparison, ask just about any Stone Temple Pilots or Soundgarden or Sublime or NWA or Alice in Chains or Linkin Park fan if they would feel comfortable with the bands going on without their classic lead singers around. The overwhelming majority of people would say no. Hell, Drowning Pool only made one studio album with their original singer Dave Williams, and were lambasted for continuing under the same name with a new singer. You just don't do it.

Batting around a theory here: What if, in the "original" timeline, Bridget reacted by ordering/performing Ulliana's execution? Only now that Red and Chloe changed things, Bridget never became a despot and Ulliana survived....maybe even went full villain, as her intro song suggests, and offed Ursula in order to usurp her kingdom. Now, instead of being raised and possibly even abandoned by her mom, Uma was ACTUALLY raised in the wickedest of arts by Uli, who she regards as her mother, and that's what the chuckle at the end of RoR is about: subtly hinting at the fact that, hiding behind "New Uma's" eyes is a darkness and a desire for her own form of revenge on Bridget/Red.
Could even lead into a trilogy sequel where we find out that, ultimately, Red can't actually PREVENT Bridget becoming the Red Queen so much as delay it. D5 could end with Uma exacting her and Auntie Ulli's revenge, which ultimately pushes Bridget to her breaking point just like the original prank was supposed to at Castlecoming.
Then D6 could deal with R&C going back to try to fix what they caused in the new timeline, only to make things even worse, as now in this third timeline Ulli and Bridget both survive and become psychotic tyrants at war with one another and ALL the kingdoms caught in between.

It's not necessary. They clearly don't WANT to comtinue on without their missing castmate/classmate, and any "cameo" scene they could contribute could easily just be written in a way that their physical presence isn't necessary, such as rather than filming a scene of Mal and Ben telling Uma to take over the school, they simply have a voiceover of Uma explaining that they did so and then a live scene of Fairy Godmother acknowledging Uma's royal selection as her successor.
