Flying in comfort is critical, **except** for shoes. I always wear the shoes I want to be wearing if something happens and we end up admist wreckage and/or wilderness. They are still mostly comfortable, sure, but that's not why I wear them.

I LOVE THE MILES MINUTE!
Traveling light is the trick. Not trying to sell a bag, but my wife and I both have a 4 compartment bag from TOBIQ that we absolutely love. It is the max size that you can have for a carryon. It has some straps that come out of a compartment in the back that turns it into a backpack for easy carrying walking or on trains etc. It holds enough that we used it for a 2 week trip to Europe and didn't need to do laundry.

I dress for comfort and convenience when traveling. My 'purple rain adventure' skirt is my go to for traveling because it had two huge pockets which makes it convenient.

60% comfy 40% cute. Compressions socks for long flights are a definite. I would enjoy seeing your luggage and more of how you pack as well. 10-14 weeks of traveling in different temps seems challenging. Miles is a delight. I look forward to watching your travels with my 8 year old son.
