Nice to see birds happy and free. They don't belong in cages--they need to use their wings and fly, fly, fly and hang out in trees with their friends and family.
They have to be because guess what people that like fruits too much cause deforestation and people who liked cars too much cause the global warming fires. Also the burning of the amazon.
Parrot ownership is changing, birds live outside of cages more now than ever, and free flight is taking off globally, hopefully with enough captive bred birds around the world , we at least have the resource to reintroduce species that have been lost or help to increase populations. The important role of breeding pure bred birds and not hybrids needs to be encouraged so that we have that back up if needed.
Your video plays for the wild macaw we care for, he listens intently and 'speaks' back to the scarlet and blue+gold macaw vocalizations. Ending the importation of wild birds [done in the US circa 1986] prevents so much suffering. thank you for providing wild macaws (sadly in captivity) with your work. Max listens as he drops into sleep after sunset. The Severa Macaw sequence [13:33 of 14:44] is only played when Max is well awake, as he recognizes his species and will not rest. Thank You--Max explicitedly desires to listen.
For years I keep amazon parrots and macaws and bred with them. 10 years ago it stopped and started traveling. The conclusion is there is no better way to loving birds than to see them flying in their natural habitat. Therefore, start traveling.
I am guilty of keeping a little parrot on my house I rescued him 2 years ago from a bad owner I had to trim his winds so I can treat his injuries and keep it off the cage. He recovers totally his winds during all this time he stays out of cages while treatment he spend the whole day in my garden with plenty of food. I thought he will go because his winds are twice bigger than before but he stays there- hundreds of people passing by stop to talk to him every day and normally by 6 pm he starts to cry for to take him inside to his sleeping room he flew away one day because the neighbors cat -he flew 40 meters landed on the side walk and started to cry so loud as soon I got there he was so happy so hard to describe-right now when he is scared he starts to shout --periquito-by the way the only word he knows and I do not teach him any words because I do not want it to become a house pet -he only enjoys my company no body else -he is my body how to let it go bisects that it was born in captivity according to the woman I rescued the parrot from
Allah makes beauty and men are taught by there masters falsehoods to destroy ... birds should not be in captivity unless wounded and or cannot return to the wild.. yet there are so many in captivity and so many abused.. may Allah help us reserve from evil deeds and actions.. the ones at shelters need good homes and yet many whom run shelters are hard to deal with and some seem to be hoarders with mental illness of types... the ones in captivity need good homes and breeders I believe need to halt but exotics is a dirty business and especially birds... I have a fifteen year old green wing and I love her and saved her... she eats high fatty nuts and virgin coconut oil and hemp and is very healthy... when Allah changes the world and environments perhaps one day she can be free... very important for people to try and keep their commitment to these birds when they get one.... many do not and sometimes the bird outlive the owner... shelter birds and older birds can be wonderful in the right hands and already past their rowdy stage if older... my chuckee is chill like me and probably the best bird I've been around.. however soon I will try to teach her some free flight as older birds can learn in time.. once you can teach them to free fly and recall only then can they be truly fulfilled in captivity but people need to have areas to do this and not just anywhere or sooner or later stupid laws will be made... nothing beats freedom and yet free flight birds are some of the happiest I have seen for then they really got it made and can't complain.. caged birds have it awful and if truth known there should be a rule that to have one you must teach it free flight... this is a great video of these babies doing what they do best...loving life...Masha Allah

Does it cost you much to travel?
Einstein The Chihuahua Ya it's called true love ;)
Piet Rozendaal you bred with your parrots? Interesting. What do your offspring look like?
Their natural habitat is dying because of planes and cars as well as people who eat too much fruit as forests are being destroyed for farm land.

What is parrot place
