Wow!…some babies just take a lil longer, huh? I mean @ 4:33 mum can barely carry her, she’s got 2 full pouches & a full mouth of chompers, yet she’s throwin this kind of fit? Babies like Teeny shoulda been so lucky. 🐒😎
Oh the joys of weaning time!😂 Over the years of watching these guys I’ve noticed that it’s mostly the boys that cry the loudest and longest when denied access to the milk 🥛 bar. Back when Gingy, from Bossy’s troop, was denied said access he actually challenged his mom and smacked her when she wouldn’t let him in! He should have already been weaned, almost all of his peers were, but he would have none of it.😂 He nursed till he was 18 months old!😱😂
It does seem like the males or the boys have a way way harder time than the girls .you know how us male species are , we can big the biggest baby’s when told no, haha haha.

Lovely lil Calista . . I do so worry about her stability in those trees..with her disabilities in both hands and feet she can't get a firm grip..but nobody told this lil girl that she has anything different to the others..such a cutie..no moaning..just getting on with her life..she reminds me of Teeny with looking for every scrap of food. She is tiny..wonder if Bonita is getting enough food to produce milk..thank you for another great video JW. Sad to see Patton unable to be by his daughter. He's so gentle with the small ones..🇬🇧💞🙏✝️🙊🙈🙉🐒
@@mulege she hasn't lost her limbs but her fingers and toes are deformed..on one hand she has 2 fingers and a thumb and they look kind of webbed .. one hand is a bit better than the others and her toes are the same..she does still climb well but I worry more when the other babies jump into the tree and it shakes as she can't really grasp the branches so well and as they get older and the play gets tougher if they try to hang on to her like the little ones do when playing that she's not going to be able to hold them born..her mom is Bonita who doesn't have any disabilities but Bonita's mom is the wonderful Ameia the one with the facial deformity of the mouth..she is wonderful..she has her last baby now Carlo as unfortunately she has the dreaded tattoo which means they bloody neutered her. Two yrs ago she had a baby and she took on an orphan little boy..so she had twins to look after. They are Dario and Brio..you will see them with her .she also has an older boy called Boris..hope that helps and gives you a bit of background to her little clan..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👍🙊🙉🙈🐒
I for one like to Watch the weening videos as right after they are done being weened we get to see them grow up really fast and get to see more of them as they are not hooked to the mom. They all have to go through it. These babies are way more freaking out then dopey group was. Yet soon they will be juvenile and we can watch them and their journey more when they are done. The fight in them that that is there’s and they won’t give up easily .
Yes, I just love looking at Bonita, she is so pretty. And Calista is so carefree. Though I am sorry to see it appears that her deformities are making her mobility a little more difficult as she gets bigger. Wow, some are these babies are not taking to weaning very well. That was really noisy and load! The baby on the fence, so adorable, I did chuckle, he just wouldn't stop. Poor babies. I definitely would have given in!
My God the drama and that God awful squealing, good job ignoring it mom, although I think she snuck it a lil nurse when her back was to us but anyways at least these mom's attempt to do it right. The Macaque's in Cambodia are still being nursed some of them at 3 years still do, but most still at 2. All the things I've watched in the wild they break the lil ones at one and before the next baby comes. More like how these monkeys do the weaning and very much unlike the Macaque's of Cambodia there's to much human interaction and involvement of the wrong kind. Feeding them whatever, spitting on them chasing them around an possibly drugging some of the moms just way to much human bad influence. Not to say there aren't people there who are a tremendous help to and for those monkeys. Thanks for sharing I watched what I could, but I just couldn't finish that squealing is unbearable.

I started a new job a few weeks ago and sadly don’t have enough free time to watch my beloved monkeys as much. I knew we’ve had some deaths lately (or reported lately that happened awhile ago), and am very glad Patton is not part of that body count. Thank you JW!
Both mother and daughter are very lean😥 Bonita looks like has only one teat working and she maybe not producing as much milk that Calista needs😥 Calista looks like Kailey a bit skinny😥

Poor Calista has something wrong with her legs. She walks funny and seems to keep the legs bent a lot while walking compared to how the other monkeys walk. I also wonder what is the wound on one of her legs next to the knee

I hopes they have another sterilisation again they need to do the males not the females,there are just to many for the food chain to support.

Calista has deformities in both feet and hands. She just plugs along anyway. She is coping very well.
She has Ectrodactyly (also known as a split hand-split foot malformation, cleft hand or lobster claw hand).
