Miss Kitty has been wandering around for who knows how long. She certainly knew where the safest place was. She had an open dog house and with all the metal huts and the garage. She just knows what’s safest.
When you followed Miss Kitty, it seemed as if she was so excited to finally show you her babies. She hugged her baby, pulled her close and snuggled up, looked at you as if to say, " thank you for feeding me and being a good human to me and my family". She knows she is safe with you and grandma. What a blessing, she's an awesome mama!
Oh what a wonderful world this would be if every animal had a caretaker like you Ralph. Your love for each animal shows through. You are not only a blessing to your animals but to the world. what a beautiful example you are showing to all people. I thank God for you, LeaAnn and your family.
The first couple days after they have babies, they stay really close to the babies.. coming out only to eat..she will probably move them if you make her nervous.. my cat in the garage had her first litter of kittens the other day.. she’s already moved them thank goodness because they weren’t in a good place.. I just leave them alone and make sure she has plenty of food and water.. she’s nursing, so she’ll be hungry ..if you mess with the kittens, she will for sure move them..they huddle up and keep warm.. as long as water can’t get in there they should do ok.. I hope you and your family weren’t close to the tornado that hit Missouri..Here where I live in Arkansas had tornadoes close by on the 31st of March.. we had storms again today, Wednesday.. under tornado warning until tonight..
She’s a good momma. Our barn cats loved the burn pile to have thier babies there too🎉🎉🎉🎉🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩you don’t need to move them because then she will move them to another place so leave her be❤️❤️❤️❤️

The kitten I found last summer had kittens around St.Patricks day. They will be 3 weeks old this next Friday. She has them under my bed. Yesterday the little gray one kept coming out from under my bed. Cozy ( the mom) kept putting it back under the bed. After the third time she brought the kitten up onto my bed and put it on my lap as if to say "here you take care of this little brat for a while". I was so surprised and proud that she did that. I have handled the kittens several times and Cozy doesn't mind. When she wants them back I place them on the floor so she can put them back.

Wow I just happened upon your page as a animal rescuer. I also have feral cat colony in my backyard. You instincts with Miss Kitty is spot on. I'm so glad you chose to keep an eye on Miss Kitty. It seems like you have helped miss kitty keep her babies as safe as possible unless your heart. If you have a trail camera that's with WIFI that would be your best option for keeping 24/7eye on them especially wild life. As soon as the kittens start to come out you might need to help mama with a new structure for safety something she can b err able to go up out of reach from predators. Believe it or not Cats,raccoons,possums and skunks all eat together. I have them all the time. It's more the coyotes,fox,eagles,hawks etc you have to worry about. I'm not sure how long you've been feeding Miss Kitty raw eggs but if you could get dry kibble that would be best for her and kitties. The raw eggs are actually bad for cats. A little can be ok like a treat but not always. However I'm not going to worry about that right what you've been doing seems to be working. To stop the cats from multiplying you can get them TNR at your local Humane Society just call your nearest one and ask for the community cat program and if they do TNR its Trap Neuter Return. If she isn't your cat just a stray that shows and you feed.

Congratulations!! The baby kitties are so precious!! The chickens aren't afraid of the blue jays, they hear their alarm if a preditor is in the area. Blue jays are great for sounding the alarm. When I had chickens, I learn to listen for them too. One day they were fussing in a tree by my door. Turns out there was a rat snake on a limb of the tree. I have been praying for your safety in all the storms up there. Also for the many that's been affected. So sad for lives lost, the injured, and the great distruction. Our kids Momma farm cats always bring their kittens to their garage!! They also pick babies up & bring 'em inside to love on a bit & they've never had mommas deny any of 'em after human contact. Miss Kitty is a great Mom!!

Mine has had hers in the rafters of our house. They sure hide them well. She may bring them home, they do move them. They are sooo cute. We found ours in our wood pile. He was so tiny. So touching to see how much love you have for Miss Kitty and her new family. I can’t help but be concerned about the coyotes . If you have a trail cam can you place it on the tree to get alerts if anything comes around. If things were to change, maybe you could take a portion of the chicken run and make it a temporary kitty house. Thank you so much for caring and giving such love to your animals. God bless!

We had a female calico cat that had babies once under our TV set. It took us a while to find them until we heard them start crying. She had them hid for like 2 days before we found them. Prayers for Miss Kitty’s and kittens. ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
She will bring them out … we had a stray that had kittens somewhere in our yard. When they were about 5 weeks old she brought them to my husband and then abandoned them ;) He was home recovering from surgery, and she figured he should help out ;)

A lot of vets recommend kitten food while they are nursing for the extra vitamins and minerals. Just a suggestion. I have 5 rescued cats myself.

My son’s birthday too, he was due May 14th but had other ideas. My brother passed 4 years earlier (1986) on the 2nd, so it’s 2 days of mixed emotions 😢

The kittens are adorable and Miss Kitty is so proud of them and trusts you so much! Thank You for putting the tarp over their pile of wood to keep them from getting wet. Loved seeing all the chickens and Bella & Olivia & Mama and of course my favorites the 3 musketeers 😂. It’s so wonderful seeing them all. Am enjoying getting to see Bruce’s little guy at Kyle & Shannon’s place. I was hoping to get to see the 2 little girls too but I am sure they are with good people and I pray they are both doing well. Baby goats are so precious and I love to watch them skip and jump around 😂😂. I wonder if Bruce misses them? I would imagine he does. He will always be my favorite animal at Chads farm. If you have a trail cam can you place it on the tree to get alerts if anything comes around.
If things were to change, maybe you could take a portion of the chicken run and make it a temporary kitty house.

We had a female calico cat that had babies once under our TV set. It took us a while to find them until we heard them start crying. She had them hid for like 2 days before we found them. Prayers for Miss Kitty’s and kittens. ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
She will bring them out … we had a stray that had kittens somewhere in our yard. When they were about 5 weeks old she brought them to my husband and then abandoned them ;) He was home recovering from surgery, and she figured he should help out ;)
