While Louie is the most deceitful triplet, he's also the most emotionally honest. Huey and Dewey will pretend things are fine, sometime to crazy degrees. Louie openly admits when he's scared, when he's stressed, openly cries, and he's even the first to confront that Della being back is complicated for them. I love the depth they gave him.

I got my boyfriend to start watching ducktales with me (it’s one of my favorite shows we’re gonna watch his favorite next) we’re in the middle of season 3 right now but when we first started watching it he questioned why I’d even have a favorite triplet and even more why it’s Louie we got to the end of season 2 and he agreed with me that Louie’s the best triplet
He's definitely the most socially and emotionally intelligent. He seems to be the only one self-aware enough to deliberately, effectively hide his real feelings and motivations most of the time. He seems really in touch with his feelings compared to Dewey and Huey, given he's always the first to get vulnerable in really serious moments with his brothers- like crying in Last Crash or stabbing right into the emotional core of the problem in Secret(s). He's also the only one to acknowledge any of the more negative feelings when Della came back, which you can either read as cynicism or emotional honesty (given the "it's probably my fault- I've gone so long without a mom, I guess I don't really know how to have one?" I'd guess the latter). He's just... an emotionally sensitive kid with a lot of financial (and other) trauma. I wanna hug him.

The moon theme is my phone ringer. My dog gets excited every time my phone rings because mom is the only person who calls me and she's his best friend. Erego, everytime this video suddenly cold cuts to the moon theme, my dog comes running and stared at me.
I find these moments when we see Louie being the baby triplet very adorable and very emotional. Especially the parts where he is crying. When he found out Dewey had been researching their mom and kept it a secret and he is holding/almost hugging his mothers jacket, my heart just broke.💔 And the moment when he meets his mother for the first time.😢💔
