Commercial Grinders at Home: The Good & Bad Ft. Ditting 804 Lab Sweet

Today I'm discussing the aspects of running a commercial grinder at home. I go over the benefits of commercial grinders (quality of coffee, speed, build, availability, and support) and I discuss the variety of downsides associated with them. I think if you are the type of enthusiast considering spending thousands of dollars on a grinder you may be piqued by the idea of running a commercial grinder instead. I think commercial grinders offer incredible flexibility especially as a grinder to pair with a high end single dosing enthusiast grinder. Just be aware they're not for everyone.
I've been running the Lab Sweet as my commercial grinder of choice and I think it is a refreshing take on what I'm used to (Niche, Monolith, Rocky). The Lab Sweet is big, loud, and lacks the creature comforts I'm used to; but the coffee is absolutely magical. As many of you have requested, I will be making a dedicated video regarding the Lab Sweet. I am also strongly considering picking up a Lever Craft Ultra in the near future just to use the 80mm Ditting Burrs. They're truly magical.
