I was thinking about this last night... So, if you were to eat human flesh, would it taste good or bad? That's why I think it's really important. So, there are animals that are carnivores, right? You know, like lions, cats, and vultures. You won't find meat from carnivores like that at a restaurant. Why is that? Because it's too smelly to eat! It's disgusting! Listen up, guys! Cats are too disgusting to eat. Are we on the same page so far? On the other hand, have you heard of a fish called "sweetfish"? Sweetfish don't eat bugs. They only eat algae. They're vegetarian. Usually, fish guts are too bitter to eat, but sweetfish guts are delicious. It's because they're not carnivores. So with that logic in mind, all the meat we consider delicious is from herbivorous animals! Cows, pigs, and chickens! The better their feed, the better they taste! Which leads us to this conclusion... Humans would taste gross because they eat meat! Well? How do you like the opinion I came up with? That whole thing that comes up in novels about human flesh tasting good is a flat-out lie!

like it or not, sex pistlos have changed the history of rock, it's unbelievable the influence they had on the bands that came after them, when I listen to their songs I always wonder if they were written 40 years ago, they have a very modern sound , incredible, brilliant !!
The more I listen to the Pistols in later years, the more I realize just how tight their sound was, Jonesy's solid guitar riffs, Cooks rock steady drums anf of course Lydons classic vocals, the only naff element was Sid, but Matlocks bass was prerecorded before Sid stumbled in as visual chewing gum.
Sid was definitely part of that history and band anyway. he had an image, and a character. besides he was a good singer, his song "something else" is great
If it wasn't for sid the pistols would be just like "another" punk band that were around at the time. sid vicious is what made sex pistol interesting. punk is always about the attitude and image, the music is second
The The d Sid was just a face for the band.. He couldn't play bass to save his life... Glen Matlock was the original bass player... Poor Simon Ritchie ... Tragic life and death.. His mother killed him with an overdose of heroin after he killed his girlfriend m Nancy spongeone.
This, basically 20 years after the cataclysmic birth of rock and roll, something that many people predicted would fade away after two years. Still going strong. Artistically speaking, if not commercially.
ensure you get Never Mind The Bollocks... and also watch and get The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle double Album (vinyl) if you can find either. My mum sold two rare Sex Pistols singles (45 rpm vinyl) that i thought i had....cheap in a garage sale......so be careful where your collection is :-)
The energy & guitar sounds have always drawn my attn.Johns great, drums too. After watching the Christmas concert though I have a new found respect for the Pistols. Good human beings and they can still rock.
Hmm. I heard this song on the radio in 1977. Since then I have loved and called the Sex Pistols the number one group of my generation. I was born in 1965

The first time I heard this song, tingles went up my spine as Steve Jones’ guitar rang out over those marching boots. In an instant, my world just changed and to this day, I still feel that tingle, each time I hear this song.
Many years can past since this song was recorded put the Energy of this classic song is still there ! It's like a fresh coffee in the morning ! Full energy !
What a way to kickstart an album. I mean as soon as you hear the Jack boots marching before Steve's guitar kicks in you're hearing greatness .Absolutely superb album opener by The Sex Pistols.
Released in October 1977! I can`t believe it`s so long ago now. You can keep you crappy modern so-called-punk. These originals still have edge. Ground breaking music, and in the charts! Long live real music
Never mind the bollocks un des 10 meilleurs albums .
The Berlin wall! 😅
London 76. It was hypnosis. I thought anarchy was happening right then and there. The most thrilling time of my life. Now, some 45 years later, I still listen to the music all the time. Same old songs. And it still does things to me. Its full of life, future, youth, fury, sweat and filth. Greatest ever.
Actually it didn't, maybe in the UK. To be blunt this is very late and inauthentic. It's a crude edgy copy of original Detroit/NYC punk. Just look at the facts.
+Arvid Atsinch I'm from Manchester. I had no clue about New York or anywhere else when I first heard this. Sadly I wasn't at the legendary Free Trade Hall Concert, but I knew people who were, and the next day that music was all over the city. I'm not a hipster, never have been, and I'd have had to have been obsessed with music to have heard obscure tunes from half way across the world. If you do your research, you'll know that Johnny Rotten and the others had no clue either. No Internet, either.
The guitar part was lifted from the Jam's "In the City". Most of the other stuff this band did was original, save for the chord progressions of "Sub-mission" (has it's roots in Kinks number "All Day and All of the Night").
The guy with the curly hair that appears in the video at 02:16 and again at 02:25 is just fantastic! It's great to watch. He's totally mesmerized by the music. At the end he's aware that he's being filmed eventhough he's pretty wasted (in a good sense) , he pulls his act togeter at the last moment and reaches to the camera with a grabbing movement and associated grimace. Great images, great music.
Music is really an escape form all the pain, anxieties, and mundane feelings of life for me. Always makes me feel better.
Couldn't agree more!
Especially the videos

Amazing opening song to one of the greatest albums ever
like it or not, sex pistlos have changed the history of rock, it's unbelievable the influence they had on the bands that came after them, when I listen to their songs I always wonder if they were written 40 years ago, they have a very modern sound , incredible, brilliant !!
The Pistols were the best of all time.
From the best album ever made.
Still a great track today. Saw them in Nov 2007 in Manchester, I was too young in 76,77 to appreciate them back then but 2007 was a damn pleasure.
Steve Jones actually played a lot of the basslines👍
Hey please don't look down on Sid. At least he is well known in the music world compared to all the jealous haters in the comments. Cheers :D
All of them actually except Anarchy in the uk by Matlock
1:04 I hate to be one of those people but did Sid just dab
wow
The The *DAB*
The The d
Sid was just a face for the band.. He couldn't play bass to save his life... Glen Matlock was the original bass player...
Poor Simon Ritchie ... Tragic life and death.. His mother killed him with an overdose of heroin after he killed his girlfriend m
Nancy spongeone.
Just dont' millennial pillocks, make your own culture, if dabbing is what your generation are known for, says it all
nudal Lol what?
Reminds me of the old times, my mum was a punk and loves this band ❤ banging tune
This, basically 20 years after the cataclysmic birth of rock and roll, something that many people predicted would fade away after two years. Still going strong. Artistically speaking, if not commercially.
Rock and roll is dead all you hear are these baby voiced robot auto tuned ass rappers like playboi carti n lil uzi callin each other rock stars
@@skeetinyoureye6484 they are kind of rockstars

I just got into Sex Pistols, and I've gotta say, In the past 15 years of my life, I've been missing a lot!
if u looe the sex pistols youll most likely like the adicts and the germs
yeah 15 year ago you are just a womb
+o VANS o me I dont
ensure you get Never Mind The Bollocks... and also watch and get The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle double Album (vinyl) if you can find either. My mum sold two rare Sex Pistols singles (45 rpm vinyl) that i thought i had....cheap in a garage sale......so be careful where your collection is :-)
Bow down to king Johnny.
Fantastic song from a classic album.
Great band. A lot of energy.
Greatest band, greatest everything to ever exist! Truly the greatest human being!
The energy & guitar sounds have always drawn my attn.Johns great, drums too. After watching the Christmas concert though I have a new found respect for the Pistols. Good human beings and they can still rock.
@2:15....Dude is totally wasted. Best 15 second clip of being obliterated. And...enjoying it! Priceless.
Hmm. I heard this song on the radio in 1977. Since then I have loved and called the Sex Pistols the number one group of my generation. I was born in 1965
Nah, you are Gen X
They are Boomers
@@layditms2I was born 66 but I'm, and neither is the original poster, not a fcuking label.
Boomer? Keep your labels for those that conform.
For me musically probably the most punk rock song ever. love it
I first heard the Sex Pistols when I was 15. They have been my favourite band since and forever more
I was thinking about this last night...

2:45 the origins of boomerang
The first time I heard this song, tingles went up my spine as Steve Jones’ guitar rang out over those marching boots. In an instant, my world just changed and to this day, I still feel that tingle, each time I hear this song.
Sex pistols....now I'm 63 years old and I love all your songs sooooo much!!!!!!!! Have my holiday in the sun!!!!!
Many years can past since this song was recorded put the Energy of this classic song is still there ! It's like a fresh coffee in the morning ! Full energy !
I think this is the greatest rock record ever produced. The lyrics, the sarcasm, the fucking guitar, utter brilliance!
Especially if you identify with neo-Nazism!
Non, ce ne sont pas les annees Thatcher lol. En 77, c'est le parti travailliste socialiste qui est au pouvoir et pour encore 2 ans! Le punk c'est justement la deception de la gauche! The Berlin wall! 😅
'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Sex Pistols don't have that problem.'
my phone is at 2%. might as well use it wisely

London 76. It was hypnosis. I thought anarchy was happening right then and there. The most thrilling time of my life. Now, some 45 years later, I still listen to the music all the time. Same old songs. And it still does things to me. Its full of life, future, youth, fury, sweat and filth. Greatest ever.
The song that changed the world. First track, straight in, and that was it.
Nailed it
Actually it didn't, maybe in the UK. To be blunt this is very late and inauthentic. It's a crude edgy copy of original Detroit/NYC punk. Just look at the facts.
Oops. Facts? Nah. Energy and sound are king
Still brilliant all these years later. Still hits me like the first time, brilliant.
one of top 10 albums of all time.. for virtuoso vocal performance!
Pure class The rest of the uk weren’t ready for em. God bless the pistols
Thanks nana to get me into this
@kyfaydfsoab I’m talking about nana the show , in the show the main character is a big fan of the Sex Pistols
This band was really something else, even though their music is loud and angry it's my therapy I love them
they were real
Ive seen this a million times but back again after watching Pistol. Great great song
