Hey, I don't know if you will see this in time but I have a abu garcia ambassador 5600 bcx that when I reel it a clicking sounds and the spool doesn't move at all, I've taken it apart and seen that the little middle gear sometimes doesn't make full contact with the main gear, if you have any tips on how to fix this, I would gladly hear them, thanks
It seems like the yoke is not bearing down on the gear and holding it fast to the spool. THat's the job of the yoke springs. Check to make sure they are installed properly. The springs belong on top of the yoke and not under it - Dennis
I could do a video on that, but I do not have one in the shop. I will add that to my request list and do one that comes in for service. Thanks for asking - Dennis
