- Back on another episode this week and we’re hanging out at Orange Beach Alabama, the launch at ICW. Just a typical afternoon with a little bonus footage of our new boat with me trailering it. Enjoy!
Hello from Colorado about 8500 feet above your head. Enjoy your videos. Been boating since 1976 and finally realized thanks to you I'm "In too deep" when I load. Recently went in just right. Wife an I didn't strain our selves centering the boat on the bunks. Thank you for all you do!!

Very nice boat, congratulations!! I'm sorry but I have to admit that your very real reaction to the jellyfish did make me chuckle pretty good. I'm actually a fan of the sea foam green on the boat, its very classy. I'd consider keeping it and design your logo to go along with it. Thanks for the countless hours of entertainment

When I run into a jellyfish, I immediately grab sand and rub it all over the area to remove as much of the slime left back and if I have access to piss, I let the golden shower do its magic 😆
If you're getting a GPS fix error, check to see if you're picking up any satellites. I know I can do that with my Garmin and you prlly can also with your Simrad. If you aren't picking any satellites up, check your fuse, connections and antenna. I just upgraded my antenna and also had to clean my electrical connections to the NMEA 2000 network.
BTW your 300's are probably 4.2L V6 in answer to the guy's question. Robust engines.

Beautiful boat! I saw below where you called your wife "trainable" 😆My husband says I'm IRT (Is Responding to Training). Good on Mrs. Dan! 👍 As far as the jellyfish sting..I felt that. I had 2 Man O War wrap me once..one around the knee & one around the torso like yours. That crap is no joke. it hurts like hell. Hope it healed quickly, like your cold. Best channel here. Finally going to get my boat back this week. Will be launching there soon Dan.
Not going to mention the marine service who messed up, but they inadvertently cut my NEMA wire, and engine wouldn’t crank nor trim and had a no comms error message.
Took it to Rods Marine, and he found the wire the other marine service had cut, by them cutting zip ties to install a 4 bank NOCO onboard system and remove the three bank I had originally. Jeremy called them (other marine service) and explained what he found.
They manned up, and told him they would pay for it all to be made right.
I have definitely got to give them credit for admitting the mistake and paying for it.
I’d love to mention them for being honest and making things right, but some people might think different about taking their boat there.
I wouldn’t want to hurt their business, after all they made things right with no fuss.
However it caused me to miss taking my boat on Saturdays Trump flotilla rally, from Mobile Bay to Orange Beach.
I did however make the rally with my family, stepbrother and his boat.

Dan I was hoping one of your followers might be able to help me. I have a 2011 Stingray 195 with 4.3 carb. 190 horsepower. It can’t take any rough water at all. Rides like a dream on flat water but any waves it porpoises like crazy. I have 4 different props trying to overcome this. I’m starting to think I need a prop that gives more bow lift than stern lift. Any of your followers have experience propping a similar boat I’d love to hear what props they have had luck with. Thanks in advance. Love your show.

@@TheBigDanShow was a black Tahoe tritoon came in for a great trailering lined up perfect but trailer wasn’t in deep enough so the truck light brown tundra backed down not enough then too much and bang ‼️ lol truck slammed the trailer into the tritoon I mean it was loud on the dock I can’t imagine u didn’t hear it 😂

Nice boat, we love watching your show. We are in Kuttawa Ky and boat on Lake Barkley and Kentucky lake. I have to say we see some dandies on the boat ramps here but some of your folks down south are way worse at loading their boats. We don’t load on a trailer much anymore, our cruiser stays in the water at the marina. But our slip is next to the daily rental slips and I bet I could get some pretty good videos of folks trying to dock their boats.
