When I am setting up I have no issue giving some cash discounts but I am not giving stuff away. No issue taking 90% of comps since its more than I would have netting on Ebay and I get cash. They get a $100 card for $90, I make more than I would have from ebay and everyone leaves happy. I agree when people walk up to me and offer 60-75% of value right off the rip I see it as insulting. I had a guy say "Well I need to have room on it". Your margins are not my problem buddy.
That last part is what irks me more than anything. I don't know when it became acceptable practice for customers to walk up to a dealer's table and complain about how they need room. If you need room, pay for your own table and set up. At least that's how I see. Thanks for watching!
Been to several shows lately and the one thing that stands out to me is how terrible the cell signal is . Some places don’t have free wifi and the interference is so bad my data doesn’t work at these shows or it’s super slow. Bad enough sometimes I have to go outside to look up comps then come back in to make the deal. Are you experiencing this at all at these shows. I have Verizon and thought the coverage is pretty good.
That was me that bought the Spahn auto. I really appreciate the deal! I’ve been thinking about that Ortiz all week though. Probably should’ve bought it lol. Keep getting those HOF baseball autos and I’ll probably pick them up. Thanks and take care!
Great content. Good for you for standing by your sticker on that first deal. An offer of 75% is insulting. For bundles, 90% is more than fair, considering dealer fees factored in, as well.
Especially on a quarterback prizm hobby parallel, 75% of the last sale is not realistic. I'm pretty sure if I offered that to someone they would laugh at me lol.
I’m sure that made for a very hectic but rewarding day! I Enjoyed watching this as always. Do you have any videos coming up with your plans for the National? I didn’t know if you were going to use it as an opportunity to really stock up or try to move stuff or a combination of both? Thanks for sharing
I'll talk a little more about the National in the coming weeks. I have a video coming out probably tomorrow talking about one thing I keep hearing in advance of the show.
Great vlog! Loved the double dealer action!
Thanks!

That is seldom a problem for me. I have AT&T, maybe that's the difference.
Just wish we could see your cases more and cards since the cards are opposite sides but overall love your common sense approach to how you deal with

Thanks again for the purchase!
It’s pretty cool to see this side of the table JT. I think it’s awesome how you really work with the younger collectors.
Thank you!
Which show feels larger/more active? This one or the Eastgate show?
Eastgate feels larger, there are more tables in a more spacious venue. I don't get to walk around this show, making it difficult to compare.

wow that $100 value pile stacking thing is super sharp, never thought about that before.
Thanks!
I don't get telling people I can't buy it at that price. He asked you what you could do.
It's difficult to hear but he offered me $160 and stated "that's 75% of the last sale" which is why I said that.
I missed that. Thank you for clarifying

Master dealer! You would fit right in selling in the Malls in the 90's. More people buying and way less those trying to sell then.
Thanks! That would be nice
Nice work as usual. You make it look easy. Thanks for the video
Thanks!
What up TC24
Be nice to show us what you sold and bought
I did lol
@@TripleCrown24 towards the end?
Another great video! Thanks for the dealer content!!
Thanks!
Fun show!!
Do u sell your stickers?
I do not, they are free with purchase or if you see me at a show
Good show. Hopefully no one tried to teach you anything.
Thanks!
