I think if the fans had of known how hard things were,. We would have helped out a lot more,. I spent thousands going to events staying in air B&Bs attending every day I could have and missed an event as I had to go to hospital,. I struggled so badly with rheumatoid arthritis and when I attended an event it took my mind off the pain,. I remember being at this event and I was struggling to get one foot past the other,. But it was amazing,. This event for me just brought out the best in so many involved around the drift scene,. There were so many great battles, and John shanahan is an inspiration to any motorsports enthusiast. Theres so many people who have a lot of respect for you all. It's inspiring me to build 2 of my own gc8 drift cars,. For my own kids. Great documentary guys,. Thank you all.
We love your commitment Michael, thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the events and you showed that real fans don't let anything get in the way of a good drift weekend! Legend!
What a brilliant documentary series. I can't get enough of it. Kudos to everyone involved, the production quality, content and drama is second to none. Well done to all involved.
Planning to make the trip from the US to Ireland next year for an event. I don't care what anyone says, Irish drifting is and always has been better than the US. The driving is next level.
Damn not only are you so dedicated with drifting but your dedicated to your fans, thats a true campion love this series and i love seeing the behind the scenes footage
Loving this series. You guys have defo kept me interested in watching drifting. Driftland here in Scotland would be amazing, but hardly any people know about it, which is a shame. If it got advertised, there would probably be a massive campaign for more speed bumps or something. Great sport, but a hard one to sell. Even F1 is dying on its arse. Car people bad, tree people good.
Amazing documentary, fans need to support the sport we love more. Hopefully once we can all go outside again we will appreciate it more. I've been out the game for a few years with build and finance issues but I am so stoked to get back out there. Shows the real side of drifting. Thanks Dave and the team, I needed this !
Great episode, great series, hopefully a great future for the drift games team and Irish drifting. I'd say the level of awareness and buy in to anything you'll dream up and produce in the future is palpable. Feeling a bit of national pride as a result of the moments captured here! Well done
So last year I went to mondello and watergrasshill, these were the first drifting events I had ever been to and drift games put drifting on my radar. Dave has done a fantastic job and has brought the sport to many more people. Very sad to see him go and concerned for where irish drifting goes from here!!
Incredible! Drifting in the wet certainly adds a whole new perspective, and I think it was captured wonderfully here. Music is bang on point as always! Cannot wait for the next episode, I am on the edge of my chair man!
Thats something only the Irish events can seem to do. At round 5 I had 5 layers on and was still soaked through, but there was no way I was going home early! Nowhere else in the world can you see two teenagers go door to door within a foot of each other in the soaking rain and not cause a massive crash. The Irish lads have some serious talent.
Fantastic content, brilliant production and and editing. Really like how honest you guys are about the whole thing and the ups and downs of running these events.
Fair play to you guys this one of my highlights of my week and I think you have absolute smashed the production and I honeslty cant say I've seen a better drift documentary. I stg when I get car and strip it slap mad engine in it, I'll be whippin it around mondello.
Fucking love ye lads Getting me through this lockdown can't wait to get up to mondello whenever...great presentor skills Egan👌👌 extremely hard not to get in car and go mad after these episodes😂😂😂
I took girlfriend to watch the drifting in Mondello park. That was a struggle getting her to go as she hates cars well after months of begging she said yes to go see it but once only and now she is hooked to drifting after watching it one time. I think way she puts it is drifitng as a sport it the best "It's better then F1 or rallying as the drivers are down to earth people just someone you could meet walking down the street and you know they do it for the sport not the money"
WOW I don't want this series to end the passion, raw emotion, truth being spoken and its scarily good Dave Egan is a Legend
Caoimhin Weir glad you enjoyed it!

That's awesome to hear and glad you could persuade her! We must get her in a car at the Drift Games Bash next!
@@driftgames_life I think she would have a panic attack in the car. She won't even get in my track car even for a spin to the shop 😂
Jack can use the excuse he couldn't see tho 😋🤙🏼
We thought so too, but he is too humble for excuses!
No sign of mckeever ?
He was in the white car in the final.
