I mean it truth Kaido one shot him no problem in the manga
They didn’t make him stronger they just made it seem like he had a chance and thought he was actually beating Kaido even though Luffy may as well be tickling him 💀
They didn't make Luffy stronger, they just made Kaido be on a more playful mood.
One thing to note is that the anime is very misleading as to how even this fight was. As cool as it looked, this fight was 100 times more one-sided
am sure every anime only guessed the anime was exagerating this fight but i aint complaining that mouth watering animation was worth the exageration

Eh it got that point across in the next episode pretty well. Worth sacrificing the accuracy for a god tier moment.

The anime extended A LOT but it just make Kaido even more ridiculously strong lol when he finally OS Luffy
in all honesty i like the casual and quick ending in the manga more just for the emphasis on the difference between them.

I always forget how different this played out down in the anime compared to the manga.
I guess you could say Luffy gave Kaido a "beatdown" into next year. And all it did was make Kaido sober.

I think that you should stop cutting out the part where you onced talked about your thoughts after the reaction ended.
It probably just incentivizes the patreon as more than most uncut reactions, he's trying to secure that bag he's got 3-4 channels and a wife and kid lol
Nah it’s due to 90% of people skipping it and that affecting the channel as a whole. I am planning on making some changes again soon. But not sure the exact specifics/timeframe so I haven’t given details on it yet. But more than likely they’ll be coming back at some point in the future

I dislike how this episode basically makes it seem like Luffy is doing damage while in the chapter it was made very clear that luffy was landing punches but they were doing nothing. Then again I understand the changes needing to haopen for the medium, but still... this feels a bit too far removed
All it took.. was one hit.
Another Anime flub.
In short, there was no build up, nor was there a clash. All that happened was Kaido blasted the mountain, and Law reaching over to to put his hand Luffy's shoulder, only notice he's not there any more. Before he can even process Luffy's absence, we hear in the distance, Gomu Gomu No... We then pan over to Luffy already in the air hitting Kaido with an Elephant Gun. This knocks Kaido out of his drunken stupor.
Now sober and pissed, he absolutely bodies luffy. And this didnt take just one panel, no. It happened BETWEEN Panels. It read like a page or two got lost in publication. Like one second Kaido is staring down Luffy as he's saying he's going to be King of the- Nex panel, Luffy is crumbling to the ground a bloody mess. And this wasn't a jump cut. This happened In real time!
