Danni, thank you soooo much for your content. Because of you I was brave enough to “rescue” dying, discounted orchids from my local Lowe’s! I too live in NE Ohio. My Lowe’s had a enormous rack (probably 30 plants) of discount orchids because the flower spikes had died. The poor things were starving for water and a little TLC. I choose plants with healthy leaves and roots…dry/silver, but otherwise healthy. I brought them home and dunk/watered them. The roots turned green and healthy looking. Without you these six orchids would have died…. maybe I’ll go back and get a few more!!
