I got it for 550€ with 5.000 shutter life. It is still an excellent camera and it is also my 1st Nikon mirrorless camera that introduced me to the new age of photography : focus peaking, silent shutter, WYSIWIG approach in the image field, good 4K video and 1080p 120fps, adapting vintage lenses, IBIS... That thing is underrated. Sony guys are bashing it without using it
Woow! You got yours for an INCREDIBLE deal. Thank you for sharing. And I totally agree with you about it being under rated. I think the Sony folks are just made they're not Nikon photographers, lol :)
@@OnlyCitrus yep in France we have our local eBay. If you are patient, you can get great deals. Mine was in a mint condition with the box and accessories. Also, I got the FTZ for 60€. I admit it, I got great deals 😊 The only downside is the 256Gb ProGrade CF Express type B for 150€. CF Express type B is very expensive. If only Nikon made 2 card slots in the Z6 first gen
I got mine 9000 SC 620 pounds here in uk. I torn between these or alpha 7III which cost 800 pounds. I made a good decision as 180 pounds diffirence i got an 40mm f2. And i got 85mm 1.8 youngnuo bnew with good reviews exicited with my portrait photography with these lenses.
This is my first mirrorless. I been using my D90 professionally shooting events, portraits, food, Photo Booth and some sport stuff here and there. I’m still learning about the Z6 but so far the transition has been great. Stepping up from the D90 to the Z6 was like night and day. I was able to get an amazing deal on it last September from another photographer right before an event I was shooting. I broke the cardinal rule and used the new camera at the event but it was a good way to see the benefits of mirrored vs mirrorless! I plan on testing out the video for a TH-cam channel I’m getting started. I agree for the money this is an amazing mirrorless camera!
Very nice! The move from the D90 and Z6 is definitely an experience. It's CRAZY how much technology has improved from those 2 as well. REALLY appreciate you sharing your experiences with both the D90 and Z6 too!
We each have our own needs and personal taste when it comes to cameras. Recently I switched my equipment around and purchased a D810 and a Z6. I like them both but for me the Z6 with the last firmware update is as close to the perfect camera I am going to find when we consider cost, size, features and performance. Few really need more than the Z6 IMO.
100,000% agree. I know there are 'newer' photographers that are switching brands to the newest model thinking that will make them a better photographer.... 😬😬
Another great video thanks. I have a Nikon z6II. The only thing I don't like is they have done away with the focus point lock. I usually focus near the middle but bumping the joystick moves the focus point around. Sometimes it takes a while to find the focus area especially in bright sunlight using the LED. Am I missing something and there is a way to lock the focus point?
Thanks for sharing! Not sure if it's the same as the Z6ii, but if you select AF-area mode, then select Wide-area AF(S), that seems to "lock" the AF point as long as you don't move pad.
You said the screen blackout after doing burst mode? You think this camera is capable of taking doing motion stop photography? Like taking 20-30 continuous frame and then turn it into a video?
Good video. Im have this Z6 whit adpter FTZ and Tamron 45mm 1.8. For photo its amazing. For video its good, but only record 30 minutes continius. The auto focus whit this lens its regular. Im from Venezuela
Depends what lenses you have. If you have the older Nikon 'AF-D' lenses, you can stick with the D750. If you have the modern Nikon 'G' and 'AF-S' lenses, I'd sell the D750 for the Z6. That's what I did and never looked back. I hope this helps.
I still don't get the propose of this Video. My first Mirrorless Camera was Z6, though I don't use that often since I got my Z 9, but for 4 yrs I have use that camera each and everyday. so many social media whores say bad shyt about this Camera, I think its the best entry Mirroless Camera ever.
Purpose of this video is my yearly review on it because it's STILL a AMAZING camera. Especially since the Z6iii is out now. There's also a good amount of people looking at getting into the Z6 and Nikon mirrorless cameras and I think a used Z6 is an excellent camera to start out with, especially for the price.
i LOVE Your video it is very useful and really great but I wish you didn't keep 'rushing it' because some pauses would be very helpful . I can't take it in when you cut out all the natural pauses in speech. I think if you took it slower you would get a lot more likes

550??? Damn that's a steal

Most importantly, the image quality is still not exceeded by other more expensive cameras.
Agreed. Also, on social media, it'd be extremely difficult to see what camera brand you used as well.

100% agree with you. The Z6 is more than enough, especially for those that are looking to upgrade from entry-level DSLR cameras.
Planning to buy Z6 soon. Was waiting for your video. I think a new firmware is also released for Z6
Buying a new camera every 2 years is a waste of money, it's like buying a new phone every year.

It is. The burst mode (and blacking out) is just annoying for fast moving subjects (car racing, athletic sports, etc)
@@BoostLeekdMedia thank you so much for your response! I appreciate your video and what you do for us seeking to better our art form! Respect!

Very good to know. Thank you for sharing!
it is worth selling my D750 to buy this camera only for photos?
It is. But, I kept my D750 because it represented an incredible photographic sweet spot for me. It's part of my collection.

Can you do a vid on the panasonic gh3, I think its the best and cheapest 4 3ds camera

Noted! I'm still a little self conscious about my speech and my 'uhhs' but it's definitely something I'm working on. I appreciate the feedback!
日本人「ニコン」
海外ニキ「ナイカン」
Igirisu say ニコン and zed
this shit was newer a great camera
It's a great camera but I would put 100% of the blame on the photographer since the camera can't do much without the user ;)
