lmao alex hasn't "changed since all the fame", just because he wears sunglasses and nice clothes and acts arrogant in photoshoots does not mean he's "a different person" or "he's full of himself." if you watch any interview from the AM era you'll she he's still the same shy boy who takes forever to finish a sentence and thinks about every word he says. lol I met alex back in October and he was so sweet and kind and he listened to what I had to say and smiled and acted genuinely pleased that I loved his music even though I'm sure he gets that every day. Alex turner is not an asshole who's full of himself, that's just his stage persona he puts on. jfc

Alex isn't 'trying to sound American' now, he just switched up his style. He was still a pimple faced lil boy when he made these angsty punk records. Don't get me wrong, the older records are brilliant, I prefer them to the new stuff. But he's a grown ass man now, he's in his 30's, it'd be odd if he made an effort to look and sound the same as he did 10 years ago. A lot has changed obviously, but I don't think that means they're selling out. He's matured and so has his sound.

I don´t know why you all Arctic Monkeys fans don´t like AM. I found the band cause of their new album and I love every single song in it. And because of AM I´m discovering all their previous work and guess what? I love it too!! Every single band in rock history has changed/evolved in some way at a certain point What´s wrong with that?

As someone who was 17 when this song came out, arctic monkeys songs from 2006/7 just take me back to that age and time in my life in a way few other songs can. Watching this video I still get chills! But we look forward, not back.. except now and again..
