Vick still has a damn good arm. The thing that amazed me growing up watching him was how effortless it looked when he’d pass. A flick of the wrist and he’d bomb it 80 yards. And he has real heat on the ball, he could spin it better than anyone in the league. I wanna repeat all of this and emphasize everything because that’s how much I don’t think y’all understand how talented Vick was. Add the fact that he was THE fastest person in the NFL in 2004 and 2005 and it’s a shame he never won a super bowl. I was a writer for the eagles in 2005 and I remember being on the sideline watching McNabb and I feel like him too it seemed so effortless when he’d throw. But I think for every column I wrote, I would start most of them off with “whiles he’s no Vick…” if it weren’t for the dog fighting, I stand by my sentiment that he’d be top 3 quarterbacks in history. If he never left the falcons, if he had a team built around him, an offensive line, for sure GOAT
I've been a Falcons fan my entire life, Vick is my favorite to ever suit up. He's my 2nd favorite athlete across all sports behind Cristiano Ronaldo. There's no highlight film in existence that does his true speed any justice. Seeing him take off live; one of the fastest human beings I've ever seen. With a flick-of-the-wrist arm talent. I'm biased but his throwing motion is the most beautiful I've ever witnessed. He had all the measurables and physical talent you could ever ask for. He just didnt give a shit when he was in Atlanta. He told Jim Mora Jr in an interview that he'd rarely ever watch tape. "Those DVDs would just stack up in my car Jim." He needed to be humbled. Unfortunately that came via incarceration. He was never going to develop as a true quarterback, not just a phenomenal athlete that plays quarterback, until he got into Andy Reid's system. You give Eagles Vick as a passer and dedication to film and his craft to Vick in his early to mid 20s with that 4.3 speed, we mightve had a superbowl by the time Julio came around. Mobility for QBs was just a bonus before he broke into the league. Now its a necessity unless you have Brady back there.

I was obsessed with the nfl and Every night I’d go to sleep in this crappy apartment in Orlando Florida that might have AC one day and night not have it the next, just wondering how I can escape my boring ass job and get myself just around an nfl team. Almost 20 years later and I travel the country, writing for each nfl team covering the pre season and stuff like pre draft candidates, post draft rookies and interviewing them, interviewing veteran players that are in a new place for the first time in their career like Russell Wilson (super nice guy) I’m independent too so I have the big guys like espn and fox and cbs all hit me up for pieces. I turned down an offer from barstool because I wouldn’t have been doing what I’m doing now. Definitely would have gotten more money but man, I can’t give up traveling the country every year for 5 months, talking to players and coaches, being around the sport I love. Barstool wanted me to sit in an office and write pieces on just one team. They could have offered me a million a year and I’d still turn it down. I just had dinner with Logan Ryan and his wife Ashley in Tampa talking about life with the buccaneers, playing for Todd Bowels, playing with Tom Brady and then family stuff. Couldn’t do that with barstool
